Chapter 7081: Stone Barbarian Aguli

Of the eight half-step triple-manifestation Divine Sovereigns, seven were now dead. All that remained was the giant with the Barbarian race’s bloodline. Blood-colored flames were roaring out of his body, and he looked like a savage god. But the flames were already starting to weaken, showing that he was reaching his limit.

Shen Qingxue, Zi Nuo, and the others surrounded him. With the violet-gold polearm in hand, Shen Qingxue was still carrying the momentum she’d gained by killing four half-step triple-manifestation Divine Sovereigns just now, and even the valiant Barbarian giant felt his heart gripped by fear at the sight.

If it hadn’t been for Long Chen, Shen Qingxue would have already killed him.

The Barbarian giant finally submitted. He put down his weapon and knelt on the ground. The battle continued around him, but the strongest enemies were gone, so all that awaited the others was extermination.

The Zither, Chess, and Painting Sect’s disciples wisely chose to stand right where they were without joining in. Though, in truth… their decision wasn’t to not join in; it was to first take a look at the situation before making a choice. And the moment they assessed the situation, they realized that there was no choice to be made. Even if the three sects joined forces, they wouldn’t be able to change the course of the battle. No, forget about that, they wouldn’t even be able to cause a ripple.

Now they were finally bearing witness to Long Chen’s terror. They finally believed those unbelievable rumors.

Meanwhile, the man himself had other priorities. He went up to the giant and asked, “Who are you, and why do you have the Blood Barbarian race’s aura?”

The Blood Barbarian was the highest bloodline in the Barbarian race. Wilde was from the Blood Barbarian race, and possessed the absolute purest bloodline. This giant possessed a somewhat similar aura, which was why Long Chen had spared his life.

“I… Aguli… from the Stone Barbarian tribe…”

It seemed that he wasn’t terribly skilled at the human language. His words were rather clumsy. But he did his best to accompany his explanation with gestures, and after a while of back-and-forth, Long Chen and the others finally got a good picture of what was going on.

It appeared that Aguli’s Barbarian tribe was actually from beyond the Heavenly Magnificence Divine Prefecture. The Stone Barbarian tribe used to be among the fiercest and most loyal subordinates of the Blood Barbarian race, to the point where the most outstanding expert in the Stone Barbarian tribe was qualified to marry into the Blood Barbarian race.

This marriage was a kind of reward, as well as a way of pulling their subordinates closer. Other than the absolute highest emperor bloodline, such occurrences were not at all rare.

The Stone Barbarian tribe’s main forces all fought to the death in the primal chaos war. Once the war was over, and the Barbarian tribes were broken and scattered, their tribe hid in a minor world. They raised beasts for food, and for a while, they were able to survive and thrive despite having no contact with the outside world.

However, as time passed, their appetites grew. The Barbarian race’s stomachs were practically bottomless pits. They gradually became unable to keep up with the population growth, and had no choice but to send expeditions outside to hunt for prey.

Eventually, the Brahma line discovered them. They used medicinal pills to gain control over them, forcing them to become one of the Brahma line’s claws. However, it wasn’t long before the Brahma line discovered that the Stone Barbarian tribe was not at all worth the effort. The reason was simple: Their appetites were too great.

Since they had taken the Stone Barbarians in, the Brahma line had to ensure that their stomachs were full. The moment their stomachs rumbled, they became berserk and would attack friend and foe. Even the people in charge of communicating with them would be eaten. Eventually, the Brahma line had to create a special division just to provide food for them. But they quickly decided that the wasted manpower wasn’t worth it and thus decided to give up controlling the Stone Barbarians; instead, they tried to form a collaboration with them.

The Brahma line provided them with a large quantity of medicinal pills that helped them break through whatever bottlenecks they were stuck in. As for the Stone Barbarian tribe, they had to complete the missions that the Brahma line assigned them.

During the recent transformation of the world, the Stone Barbarian race didn’t even have the brains to hide, and it went without saying that they had no idea how to raise a barrier. They could only rely on their terrifying physical bodies to endure the clashing of the two sets of natural laws. That was practically suicide, and the result was exactly as cruel and bloody as anyone would have imagined.

Thanks to millenia of recuperation, their numbers had ballooned to ten million. But after the night passed, barely over three hundred of them survived. The rest all died, including the tribe leader at the time—which was how Aguli became the new tribe leader. As for his three hundred subordinates, they all managed to obtain mutated power!

Aguli was not an expert from the primal chaos era. He had become a Divine Sovereign just a few centuries before the new era. Within the painful torment of the long night, he had actually met with some good fortune; even he wasn’t sure exactly what it was, but he was actually able to become a half-step triple-manifestation Divine Sovereign.

His physical body became incredibly powerful. He had incredible battle prowess, and yet he didn’t even know how to use his mutated power. Worse still, he also didn’t know how to unleash the power of the two treasures of his tribe. He only knew how to randomly swing them. And despite that, he had survived the attacks of Chi Yutong, Yan Li, and the others. Although his body was covered in wounds now, not one of them was critical. It was obvious to everyone how terrifyingly tough he was.

The Barbarian race’s people were not known for their intellect, and the Stone Barbarians were no exception. The tribe had long since forgotten the memories of the Brahma line trying to enslave them. They only knew that every now and then, someone would bring them some resources, and when those people needed help, they would help them.

This time, when the Brahma line went to ask them for help, they were badly shocked by what they saw. They had never thought that these fools would just endure the night with brute force and be nearly exterminated for it. In the end, they managed to trick the strongest Stone Barbarian into coming here. This was the Brahma line’s first time asking for aid in Aguli’s lifetime, yet on this first mission, he had ended up kicking the iron plate that was Long Chen.

Once Long Chen heard this, he immediately understood that everything happening on the divine capital’s side had been planned by Long Can herself. Of course, her real goal was the Jiuli Tower. The divine capital was just a big piece of meat she was planning on seizing together with her obedient dogs. She wanted to show the whole world that anyone who followed Lord Brahma would have endless opportunities.

“The Stone Barbarian race is one of the Blood Barbarian race’s greatest subordinates. Considering you also have the blood of the Blood Barbarian race, how could you be willing to be the dog of the enemies that slaughtered your ancestors?” demanded Long Chen coldly.

“Enemies that slaughtered my ancestors? Are you talking about them?!” Aguli suddenly became outraged.

Seeing Aguli’s reaction, Long Chen was speechless. Just what was inside that giant head of his?

“The king of your Blood Barbarian race is my brother. Starting today, I am your king. You will listen to me!” ordered Long Chen.

“Yes! My king!”

Aguli immediately knelt on one knee and placed his left hand on his right shoulder.

Shen Qingxue and the others stared in confused silence. They exchanged looks. Was this person an idiot? How could he just believe what others were saying?

“Are you not afraid my boss is lying?” asked Yan Li.

Aguli shook his head firmly. “Someone this strong wouldn’t lie to me!”

Yan Li was flabbergasted. Of course, he had no way of knowing that, while Barbarians were lacking in the attic department, their instincts regarding their own kin were quite sensitive. The reason Aguli believed Long Chen without hesitation was that he could sense Wilde’s aura from him.

Aguli himself was actually unaware of it, but to him, it seemed perfectly reasonable that someone this powerful wouldn’t bother lying.

Suddenly, a deep voice thundered in the distance.

“Long Chen, how could you slaughter so many innocent people?! Are you not afraid of retribution?!”

The starry sea darkened and collapsed.

A new group appeared outside the cage, and Long Chen’s eyes narrowed when he saw them.
