Long Chen was immersed in seven-color divine light. The ☷ and ☰ essence runes flashed in his eyes.
Three thousand globes of light floated behind him, fading in and out of each other. Heaven and earth became connected with the three thousand worlds as they shifted in and out of existence. But as the three thousand worlds behind him faded in and out, he appeared like a supreme god of the universe, a transcendent being that stood above them all, regardless of cultivation base. Divine light gathered, and law power instantly condensed. A sharp sword instantly pierced towards Long Chen.
Long Chen raised a hand and formed a one-handed seal, moving his hand from his forehead to his chest.
“Three Pillar Shield!”
That sword slammed into the shield. With an explosive sound, the sword and the shield exploded at the same time. Astral winds blew back Long Chen’s hair and robes, but he was completely unharmed.
Everyone was shocked. Before this, Long Chen had been completely unable to block that attack. But now he was able to take on that sword head-on!
Xie Lingyun was paying close attention when Luo Tianxiang attacked. He suddenly laughed. “He can only maintain this state by burning away his blood! Xie Lingyun cried out, and his law manifestation quivered. An eight-sided shield appeared, yet the sword sliced through Xie Lingyun’s shield like it wasn’t even there and continued towards his head.
“DUCK!” Luo Tianxiang shouted and unleashed a palm strike. His palm turned golden, and a thousand divine runes flashed on top of it.
BOOM!
The giant sword deviated from its trajectory and flew past Luo Tianxiang before slashing a bottomless crevice into the ground.
“Little bastard!” Xie Lingyun was shocked and enraged. Fresh blood gushed out of the top of his head. If Luo Tianxiang had not helped him just now, this sword would have definitely crippled him, if not outright killed him. It seemed that whatever laws were at the foundation of Long Chen’s sword strike, they allowed it to cut through his power like it was nothing.
Just then, Long Chen stepped forward, instantly appearing beside the two of them. His long hair billowed back. He didn’t even look at the two of them; with the same hand seal, he shouted, “Blood law—Violet Flames Incinerate the Heavens!”
