Chapter 566: The Holy Corpse is mine

This was not something you would expect from an eighteen-year-old.

But this was normal. For someone with such powers, he naturally needed to have a good and sharp mind to notice every little detail; guiding a conversation was just part of that ability.

Andrew stared deeply at Grey and then turned to the Yellow Ancestor and the Spirit Ancestor.

"You are right," Andrew spoke as he did a ninety-degree bow. "It was my greed that led me to take such actions. I am the leader of Myriad Gates. What leader does not think about wanting the best for their ruling side?"

"That is also why I placed the battlefield on the ascension platform. But a leader should also know when to back down and find the most optimal path."

The Yellow Ancestor and Spirit Ancestor were moved by his words.

Grey squinted his eyes upon hearing this.

"Just so you know. That Holy Corpse is mine."

"I do not care if there is an abyss, the Crystal Zerg race, or anyone else. I will still take hold of it."

"One hundred is not my limit for summoning my angels."

Everyone became stunned hearing his words.

One hundred was not his limit?

The Yellow Ancestor immediately had a flashback. He had almost forgotten that this man had once summoned one hundred thousand angels at once.

The Yellow Ancestor’s expression turned pale. If he summoned one hundred thousand of them, even he might have a hard time dealing with them, especially when the force they used was similar to the one Grey wielded.

Andrew stared at Grey, not knowing what to say anymore.

He did not outright rule out the possibility of that happening. He was not narrow-minded; through the vision shared by Luther, he knew the extent of this person’s powers.

He did not take it as a bluff.

Then, he heard Grey speak again.

"Of course, that does not mean you will completely lose out on everything."

"I am sure you are eyeing the Nirvana state’s insight, right?" Grey asked.

"That is correct." Andrew nodded.

It seemed like the Myriad-Race Alliance was well informed of this matter.

"In that case, if you are to help me take control over the corpse, then I will directly transfer the enlightenment of the state to you."

"What?" Andrew wore a dumbfounded expression.

Share enlightenment? Was this some short video that one could just send over to friends?

"Do you not believe me?" Grey eyed him with a sigh. "I will demonstrate. Open up your sea of consciousness, or whatever you call it here."

"Do not worry. I am weaker than you, so I will not be able to do anything to you... probably."

Andrew hesitated at first, but still did it in the end. Immediately, information began transmitting into his mind.

"W-what source is this?" Andrew was stunned. He had just received enlightenment on the Law of Life and Death. This was one he had been lacking in, but it had directly reached minor succession.

"All I did was transmit what I knew to you. It will not leave your mind, and since you are an eighth ranker, it did not take you long to decipher the information and reach minor succession," Grey spoke casually.

Converting things into data and information was his greatest forte.

Andrew was completely sold on this.

He had seen this man bring back an eighth ranker with a snap of his fingers.

It did not take long for him to completely believe this.

"Going back to the topic. What do you say?" Grey asked.

"I agree," Andrew replied without hesitation.

"Good." Grey nodded. "Then, I am looking forward to our little alliance."

Grey stood up and shook the man’s hand.

For Grey, this was just a small price to pay to acquire the Holy Corpse.

The Origin evolvers would be a great way to stop the abyss and the Crystal Zerg race from reaching the Holy Corpse.

Besides, by now, it was clear that all the ancestors wanted the same inheritance from the corpse. They probably did not care too much about the tenth rank.

Or perhaps they did, but that was his as well. He was not going to give it up.

But the insight on Nirvana? He would definitely give that to them all.

And for an eighth-rank being, that was definitely something worth fighting for.

With that, the alliance was formed.

Next step: reaching the Holy Corpse.

Of course, that was not going to be easy.

In the end, this all depended on the unity between the Myriad-Race Alliance and the Myriad Gates.

Grey, the Yellow Ancestor, and the Spirit Ancestor went back.

By now, Andrew had already declared a truce, and the battlefield was slowly disintegrating.

The Yellow Ancestor soon began conveying the information to the others.

Everyone glanced at Grey.

This kid led the conversation and actually won?

At this point, they were no longer surprised.

He was flawless in all aspects. It was almost as if this guy was flawless in everything he did.

Flawless in power, flawless in showing off, flawless in negotiation.

Could it be that this man was the incarnation of some Law of Perfection itself?!

Was there even such a thing?

Soon, another meeting took place. This time, both sides were present.

"The Crystal Zerg race was the first to move," Andrew began explaining.

"This is because of the assistance from the abyss."

A new projection appeared, which showed multiple fractures in space.

"All of these are reality fractures, meaning they were created by World Breaking Source Power."

"With the abyss having that power and free access to our world, it took them less than an hour to completely form a defensive formation around the Holy Corpse. And over that layer, the Crystal Zerg race also formed a defensive formation."

"All the elites and powerful beings have formed a complete circle that prevents infiltration from all sides."

"We do not have much time. We need to breach this barrier and reach the corpse before it is too late. It is only natural for the abyssal beings to have started refining the corpse."

"If they get their hands on it, then they will only get stronger, and that is something we do not want to happen."

Everyone collectively nodded.

"Hence, the way to breach this defensive formation is by numbers."

"A sheer amount of numbers," Andrew said as he glanced at Grey.

"Consider it done." Grey smiled. "I will need a bit of external help, though. Summoning a lot of them can be quite challenging."

"We are all here ready to help."

The others gave a quick nod.

Then, Andrew began explaining in more depth, arranging places and positions for everyone.

With that settled, everyone began preparing to head off while the ancestors helped Grey summon more devils.

In the end, he managed to summon five thousand eighth-rank devils, which were swiftly converted into Nexus angels, joining the existing one hundred.

With that, they set off.
