At the same time, Yuan and the others watched the couples dancing on the ballroom floor while enjoying the delicious cuisine that had been specially prepared for the banquet.

"Indeed. However, the food is delicious, and the music is wonderful as well... It almost feels like we’re enjoying the services of a luxurious restaurant," Julie added while nodding in agreement.
"Can’t argue with that. The food is truly exceptional. It definitely deserves praise," Emma said as she swallowed a mouthful of meat.
Meanwhile, Xi Meili was silently emptying one plate after another, stacking the empty dishes neatly to one side, which naturally attracted quite a bit of attention from the surrounding guests.
However, Xi Meili paid them no mind and continued enjoying her food in silence without the slightest concern.
"Oh my, the most important guests of today’s banquet are hiding in a corner. It took quite a bit of effort to find all of you."
A soft and elegant voice suddenly rang out before a mature woman dressed in a black gown appeared before Yuan and the others.
"Lady Hexryn, it seems you’re doing quite well," Yuan immediately greeted her with a smile as soon as he saw her.
She pulled over a chair and placed it beside their table before taking a seat.
"Why are all of you hiding here? Shouldn’t you be busy greeting the guests? Just look at how many people keep glancing in your direction."
"I’m not interested in getting to know anyone here. It’s as simple as that. Besides, I don’t like crowds," Yuan replied with a smile.
"I see... No wonder you’re hiding in this corner with your wives," she said with a smile before noticing that Princess Nerith was also sitting with the group.
"Oh my, it seems the rumors were true after all. Our brave Princess really did fall for a human..." she chuckled while casting a playful glance toward Nerith.
Nerith’s cheeks immediately turned red, and she became so embarrassed that she couldn’t even bring herself to meet Duke Hexryn’s gaze.
’Not only Princess Nerith, but to think this young man has even charmed Count Isolde as well... This man is truly dangerous for women,’ Duke Hexryn thought inwardly, a look of surprise flashing across her face when she noticed how closely Isolde was sitting beside Yuan.
Meanwhile, Queen Lilith appeared visibly irritated as guests continued flocking around her, especially the male nobles who constantly tried to make a favorable impression.
’These damned fools... Why can’t they just leave me alone and let me talk to him? This is infuriating!’ she cursed inwardly.
’If I don’t find an excuse to leave, I won’t even get the chance to speak with him.’ She glanced toward Yuan while thinking this.
"Please excuse me for a moment, gentlemen. I’d like to get some fresh air."
Without giving them an opportunity to respond, she immediately left their side and headed straight toward Yuan’s group.
’What does this succubus want now?’ Anna Grace immediately noticed Lilith approaching and frowned slightly.
’I highly doubt her arrival means anything good... She’s probably here to seduce my darling.’
Arriving before Yuan, Lilith pulled over a chair and placed it right beside him before greeting everyone with a charming smile.
"While everyone else is enjoying the banquet, you’re all sitting here in a corner. So, I decided to come over myself and have a conversation with you, Yuan," Queen Lilith said in a soft, alluring tone that naturally drew people’s attention.
"It’s actually quite simple. I just don’t like crowds. And if I went over there, I’d end up getting dragged into countless conversations that I have no interest in," Yuan replied politely with a smile.
"I see... I can understand how you feel. I was getting tired of people pestering me as well," she replied with a smile.
"And with a face as handsome as yours, I can already imagine how many noble ladies are trying to get your attention."
Yuan remained silent as he listened to her words, though he couldn’t deny their truth. After all, he could still feel the gazes of numerous women lingering on him, clearly waiting for an opportunity to approach him.
And it wasn’t just him. Many men were also casting admiring glances toward his wives because of their exceptional beauty.
’So, what exactly is this succubus trying to accomplish by coming over here? I can already feel the jealous stares from the guests...’ Yuan thought as he looked at Queen Lilith.
However, no matter how carefully he observed her, he couldn’t sense any hostility or malice. Furthermore, she didn’t appear to have any obvious ulterior motives behind her approach.
"It must be difficult dealing with so much attention, Your Majesty," Yuan said a moment later.
"Difficult? It’s irritating. Most of them want nothing more than to get into my good graces," she replied with a chuckle. "Their intentions are as clear as day to me. No matter what excuses they use, I can tell what they’re really thinking just by looking at their expressions."
"Ever since my mother—the former Succubus Queen—left this world and entered her eternal rest, we’ve been constantly pestered by all kinds of people."
"Everyone wants something from us. Influence, status, power... there’s always an ulterior motive."
"And since our race has been declining because there are no humans on this continent, we’ve become easy targets for countless opportunists," she explained before letting out a deep sigh.
"You’ve had a difficult life," Anna Grace said with a gentle smile after listening to her story.
As much as she disliked Lilith’s sudden interest in Yuan, she couldn’t simply tell her to leave or treat her harshly after hearing her circumstances.
"It’s not that bad, actually. I’ve gotten used to it. Dealing with a bunch of fools isn’t particularly difficult anymore," Queen Lilith replied with a soft sigh.
She then looked at Yuan for a moment before speaking again.
"Can I talk to you alone for a moment? There’s something I’d like to discuss with you."
Hearing this, Yuan instinctively looked toward Anna Grace as if seeking her approval. Anna Grace simply nodded with a faint smile.
Yuan then turned back to Lilith and replied, "Sure. I don’t mind. Besides, the atmosphere in here is getting a little heavy for me. I could use some fresh air."
