Choosing clothes was difficult

“No, I had mostly decided on what I was going to bring! It’s just that…”

According to Claire, she wanted to bring clothes that I would think are pretty.

And since there was no time for me to see all of them, she wanted to bring her whole wardrobe.

Obviously, I was very flattered, and thought of putting on a fashion show once we reached Range Village.

After dinner and tea, I did my daily swings in the garden with Tilura.

Mr. Ekenhart had taught us. And I was now used to doing them while thinking of the enemy.

“Here, Mr. Takumi. And Lady Tilura.”

“Thank you! Well, I’m going to go and say good night to Rahle and the others!”

“Of course. Off you go then. Ah, thank you, Ms. Gelda. Claire. I hope you weren’t too bored?”

I thanked Ms. Gelda after accepting a towel from her to wipe my face.

“Oh, no. I was not bored at all. There is something very exciting watching you train like that.”

“Ahaha…”

“Wuff.”

I scratched my head, feeling a little embarrassed. Leo sighed with annoyance.

“In-in any case, we should go back inside before it gets too cold.”

And like that, we headed into the house.

From a distance, I could hear Tilura’s cheerful voice, along with Rahle, the cockatrices and fenrirs.

“Sorry. I guess I’m still sweaty… But I wanted to hug you goodnight. Well, see you tomorrow then.”

“Oh, it’s fine… Yes, goodnight, Mr. Takumi.”

While we were walking down the hallway, I gave Claire a light hug right before she made a turn towards her room.

As it was so sudden, she let out a yelp. But upon hearing my answer, she smiled softly.

We had started the day with a hug and ended it with a hug… I had to be careful so that I didn’t let the excitement show on my face.

Several days passed. And then it was finally the day we would make our move to Range Village.

I had already finished with preparations a while ago. And so I continued to train and make herbs. But Claire was much busier.

A lot of the extra work came from her wanting to take more than could be carried.

And since she wanted to take clothes that I would like, I felt bad for the servants. Especially Ms. Hermine, who I apologized to in my heart…
