Chapter 1250.1: The Wall of God

One day later.

Yellow sand sliced through the air.

Su Xiao was running at a high speed in the desert. Due to the presence of a walking air conditioner in the form of Amu, he did not feel the effects of the hot desert climate at all.

Pausing for a moment, he took out a pointer. It was created in this world and only pointed in one direction. It was impossible to get lost in this world with it.

Taking out a map, Su Xiao realized that he was not far from the Semei wetlands. Given his current speed he would be able to reach the Wall of God in less than 5 hours.

Su Xiao was a little tired, but he didn't have time to rest right now, as every minute counted. If his time in this world wasn't increased, he couldn't even say for sure if he would have time to visit all the Law Shadow Ruins or not.

Apart from the map of Saint Sodin's Kingdom, Su Xiao also had a slightly primitive map of the undead territory.

The undead had their own kingdom, and most importantly, there were no fewer cities in the undead territory than in the human territory.

The undead capital was located in the Darkmoon Swamp. She wasn't in the badlands. There were special vines above the Dark Moon Swamp, and on these vines was the undead capital.

In terms of construction, the undead were far superior to the human race, but in terms of agriculture, the human race was far superior to the undead.

Su Xiao's destination was not far from the Dark Moon Swamp. He only knew the approximate location of the Law Shadow Ruins. Where exactly these ruins were located he would have to find out personally.

After putting away the map, Su Xiao continued to run.

Soon, the Semey wetlands appeared in front of him.

Four and a half hours later, Su Xiao left the Semei Wetlands. They slightly slowed down its speed due to the presence of a huge number of animals and plants.

When Su Xiao looked up, he saw a huge dark wall.

He arrived at the Wall of God.

The Wall of God separated the territory of humans and the undead. This wall wasn't made of a uniform material. Most of the wall was made of stones, but some sections were made of solid ice or non-combustible wood due to the special geographical location. One of the most special sections of the Wall of God in general was made from animal bones.

If the undead wanted to invade human territory, they had to break through the Wall of God first. The undead didn't stretch the frontline much and attacked with their main forces in several places, such as the Lulimasa Snowfield area, Kokobai, and other infamous areas.

But each part of the Wall of God had one thing in common — it was difficult for people to get the necessary supplies and materials to it. Of course, the delivery of necessary things was carried out regularly, but it took a large amount of human and ordinary resources.

The part of the Wall of God that Su Xiao was approaching wasn't an active combat zone, but he didn't intend to visit such an area either.

Su Xiao wanted to go deeper into the undead territory. Destroying an entire undead army sounded very lucrative, but it wasn't really the wisest choice.

So he chose the relatively quiet area that was closest to him. It was precisely because of this that he had passed through the Semei wetlands, which were rich in resources, and because the part of the God's Wall closest to this area had not been broken through by undead for a hundred years, there were no special problems with transporting resources and living on the God's Wall.

Su Xiao continued walking towards the Wall of God. Just as he reached the foot of the wall, a horn sounded from above.

— Man under the wall, stop! A dozen soldiers stood at the edge of the Wall of God and looked at Su Xiao warily. The soldiers on the Wall of God were always on the lookout, and they discovered Su Xiao long before he got close to the wall.

This indicated the good quality of the kingdom's army.

Even though it was a fairly peaceful section of the Wall of God, the soldiers who were stationed in such a place were still very vigilant. If he got to an area where there were bloody battles every day, what kind of soldiers would he end up seeing?

Su Xiao took out a scroll of parchment from his inventory, tied some rocks to it, and threw the parchment directly onto this wall.

The dozen or so soldiers on the wall immediately hid behind the battlements, and a crossbow poked out from the hole in the wall and aimed at Su Xiao.

After about ten seconds, the crossbow was hidden back.

— You... The iron hand? The soldier on the wall asked in a tone that was almost incredulous. The biggest official he had ever seen was the legion commander of their area. As for the officials who reported directly to the king, such as Iron Hand, he had only heard of them, but he didn't even think that he would ever be able to see one of such officials in person.
