Chapter 340: A New World

The rose-colored liquid, imbued with terrifying Spirit Energy, dripped onto the ground, completely evaporating within seconds. The substance called blood, which existed within Bai Mo's body, turned into a blood mist upon leaving him, pervading the small space around him.

"Are you trying to leave behind your legacy before you die, or... are you attempting to be reborn by possessing a new shell?" From the gradually spreading blood mist, Gaia read some information stored within, which seemed to contain a large part of his legacy.

At Bai Mo's level, with his body having undergone Elementization, every part of him could serve as a vessel for his consciousness. While still a distance from true rebirth from a single drop of blood, it was certainly not impossible to take over a body through the residual will left in his blood.

This was because similar methods existed on the Tianxuan Continent, where Gaia resided, which led Gaia to this immediate conjecture.

"I don't need such ghostly tricks yet." Bai Mo casually wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, speaking with composure, as if the two standing before him were merely ordinary friends, not mortal enemies.

He swallowed the half-tube of Abyssal Bloodline that Gaia had once descended with. After paying a huge price, he successfully shielded Gaia's perception of being divined, preventing it from burying the truth.

"Only you could come up with such a heart-stabbing deception as 'Chosen One of Destiny'." To uncover the truth, Bai Mo endured immense backlash, unearthing Gaia's true origins and simultaneously proving that not a single word it spoke during its first descent was truthful.

The point in time when it awoke was already after the Spirit Qi explosion, thus eliminating the possibility of it manipulating his initial turning point of destiny.

"Knowing more is meaningless now." Gaia halted its attack on the Red World Disciple, instead shifting all pressure onto Bai Mo's white light.

The Red World also instantly turned its spearhead towards the white light, and the heavily wounded Bai Mo once again became dangerous.

He did not possess the kind of immortality the others had, and in this plan, he remained a piece that could be removed, though the price to be paid would certainly not be small. However, with their minds set on killing him, the two were clearly unwilling to spare any cost.

The relationship between Gaia and the Red World Disciple was incredibly subtle, easily transitioning from allies to enemies, and back from enemies to allies. The fundamental reason was that no matter how much they tormented each other, neither could die; they couldn't even commit suicide.

They each knew of the other's existence. To truly kill the other, one must first kill oneself, the knower. But the prerequisite for successful suicide was for the other, who knew of one's existence, to die first. This created a logical deadlock, an insoluble bug unless a higher-level existence intervened to eliminate them in a more unreasonable manner.

Since their existence in this world could not be threatened no matter how recklessly they acted, many things became utterly arbitrary in their eyes.

As long as the upper limit of martial power in this world was fixed, everything was merely a game. As players, they should possess absolute authority, able to modify anything they were dissatisfied with at any time.

And Bai Mo, an NPC who had broken through numerous blockades and gained the ability to disrupt the game, should not, in the players' eyes, exist in this world.

Amidst the intricate power struggles between players, what business did an NPC have joining in the fun?!

"Time's up." Bai Mo slowly uttered these four words, pulling out the Soul Crystal he had obtained from another version of himself, now having undergone countless modifications. This item was his final trump card.

He had almost never used this crystal before. Even for the cultivation of the Thousand Souls Sutra, apart from a short initial research period, he had switched to other soul-type spiritual materials for the formal cultivation process that followed.

The reason he hadn't used this crystal, which was condensed from countless departed souls, wasn't due to its preciousness, nor any psychological burden from using it, but rather Bai Mo's instinctive paranoia.

One always knows oneself best. As someone who loved to dig pitfalls and lay out foreshadowing everywhere, he couldn't help but wonder if his parallel self might have placed some hidden pieces within this item. Thus, he ultimately abandoned the idea of directly using it on himself, even though it was a rare and exotic treasure.

"Finally willing to take it out?" Seeing the gigantic Soul Crystal in Bai Mo's hand, Gaia said, completely unsurprised.

As one who had witnessed the descent of the light-being back then, Gaia, though unable to ascertain the exact relationship between that being and Bai Mo, was very much aware of this item's existence.

At that time, having only emerged from the old man's body a few days prior, it held no value worth even noticing. However, it was also possible that the other Bai Mo simply didn't wish to interfere too much with this world.

"Guess what I'm going to do?" After revealing this trump card, Bai Mo infused all the Spirit Energy from his body, along with all his white light, into the crystal before him, which had undergone extensive modifications.

"Creating a divine kingdom?" The Red World Disciple noticed the numerous Void-Profound Crystals surrounding it and, combining that with the type of runes carved on them, immediately formed this conjecture.

"That won't change the fact that you're about to die." Gaia didn't believe that the opponent ascending to godhood at this moment could reverse the situation. After all, even the gods deep within their divine kingdoms couldn't withstand their information attacks.

Bai Mo sighed, "Let's create a new world."

He crushed the Soul Crystal, which Ramdo had treasured as his life, in his hand. A terrifying torrent of information energy erupted instantaneously, tearing a massive hole through the information blockade barrier that the Red World Disciple had been maintaining, on the verge of completion.

The crimson and purple lights couldn't even block the sky-piercing torrent for a single second.

Facing the resentful thoughts of hundreds of millions of departed souls condensed from thirty cities, along with the terrifying energy that had suppressed these countless vengeful spirits, even the Red World and Gaia could only temporarily avoid the brunt of it, watching the person at the center of the storm.

Under Bai Mo's control, the surrounding Void-Profound Crystals began to fulfill their intended purpose, constructing an enormous subspace at that location.

The energy erupting from the shattered crystal, along with some of the souls that had persisted until now without dissipating, were guided by Bai Mo into the spaces formed by each Void-Profound Crystal.

The two of them wanted to prevent all of this from happening, but in terms of their ability to interfere with reality alone, Gaia's combined strength still couldn't compare to their opponent, who had already completed his advancement. Moreover, Bai Mo had long ago affixed countless imprints onto these materials, making it utterly impossible to seize control.

"Ever since I guessed your true nature, I knew it was impossible to kill you now. But I'm not resigned to it. Whether you're the real Gaia or a fake Gaia, I dislike having such a being looking down on me. Therefore, I've designed a new world for you." Bai Mo smiled as he looked at Gaia.

"Although an extra person has suddenly appeared, it doesn't matter. This world is large enough, large enough to accommodate the three of us."
