Chapter 302: Curtain Call

At the experimental grounds, the outer perimeter staff had long grown accustomed to the terrifying fluctuations that periodically emanated from within. Each of them continued with their tasks as if it were just another ordinary day.

After a multitude of avatars collapsed, Bai Mo realized that without personally delving into it, he would never truly grasp the core essence of Elementization. Yet, he still had too much left to do; now was not a good time.

"Let's continue." He once again took control of the remote projection, which had already lost nearly a third of its form, and observed the few individuals on the battlefield. Bai Mo didn't consider this a battle in the slightest, as victory or defeat held little meaning for him; it was merely another idle move.

"It seems he's just using projection avatars for experiments," Wu Zhi's voice emerged from the bracelet.

"The internal structure is too severely damaged; this projection won't last three minutes," Chris Ding quickly concluded.

"You're very confident?" Observing the emotional hues emanating from her, Bai Mo largely surmised her thoughts.

Chris Ding offered no reply, merely beginning to command the more than a thousand rune creatures on the field. Half were tasked with protecting her, while the other half launched an assault on the enemy.

"I said, Let there be light." Mimicking Gondor's divine art, he also created a similar Spirit Art.

However, it couldn't exactly be called a creation, for the essence of this Spirit Art was simply too rudimentary: it merely released the colossal power within his body purely in the form of light to overwhelm everything. It was especially suited for cannon-like Super-class Mages with abundant magical energy.

Bai Mo had already decided to abandon this avatar; at this point, its output was a completely overloaded, self-destructive attack.

From the ground, as it was daytime and the sun was fiercely strong, they could only perceive the sky suddenly becoming much brighter, as if the brightness of the colossal desk lamp that was the firmament had been artificially amplified significantly.

Wherever the ocean of light reached, the engulfed rune creatures continuously disintegrated. Even the guardian creatures tasked with protecting Chris Ding were incessantly devoured by the boundless radiance.

"Let's see how long you can last." Watching her outer defenses steadily erode, she showed no sign of tension. Given the current situation, it would take at least ten minutes for her defenses to be completely dismantled, but this projection would absolutely not endure that long.

Chris Ding had been stalling with minimal expenditure, reserving more of her energy for her eventual confrontation with Gondor. After Bai Mo's chaotic intervention, Gondor had continuously used divine arts to recover from his injuries, and by now, he seemed to have improved considerably.

But soon, she realized something was amiss: the ocean of light before her was rapidly shrinking its radiant scope. It seemed he intended to unleash an ultra-high-energy laser capable of destroying everything in one final moment!

"Let's go, or there'll be nothing left." Wu Zhi, with her extremely rich combat experience, had already guessed the outcome the moment the focus began.

She knew this light certainly wouldn't kill Chris Ding, but it could severely wound her, leaving Chris Ding to ultimately fall into Gondor's hands, where she would be sealed of all her powers and confined to the monastery. Therefore, the moment she sensed this, Wu Zhi began preparing for teleportation.

Chris Ding had grown considerably strong. For her teleportation, Wu Zhi could no longer complete it in an instant as she had ten years ago; instead, she required a full two seconds of preparation time.

"Teleportation again?" Bai Mo, relying on his spatial abilities, detected some abnormal fluctuations. He abandoned control of the laser beam, attempting to interfere with this transmission with all his might.

Spatial transmission, an operation requiring precise calculations, was entirely a matter of a millimeter of error leading to a thousand-mile deviation. Under a faint disturbance from Bai Mo, the teleportation underwent an anomaly.

"Damn it!" At this life-or-death moment, Wu Zhi also brought forth her full capabilities, attempting to find a stable landing point so that Chris Ding, after being teleported away, wouldn't end up in several pieces. She hadn't yet completed Elementization, and being cut into multiple pieces would make saving her incredibly difficult.

However, Wu Zhi was, after all, an existence chosen to accomplish special missions, and her mastery over space was far superior to that of humans who lacked any inheritance and only understood crude interference. In the end, she successfully returned to Earth.

"What a pity." The projection, on the verge of collapse, still failed to detain the two, allowing them to escape once again.

Gondor, who had watched the entire battle between the two sides, felt that it had concluded rather well, with everyone returning empty-handed and the world remaining as it was.

"Game over." In the final moments before dissipating, a stream of information bypassed numerous barriers and flew into Mu Si's mind. Her avatar immediately vanished, preparing to contend with the encirclement from the Luminous Holy Church.

In this entire affair, perhaps the only beneficiary was the European Union, which successfully forced one of the Luminous Holy Church's three giants to retreat. Of course, they also paid a considerable price to enlist the witch's aid. However, for a government, any problem that money can solve isn't a problem at all; they just had to print more Euros.

"Where am I?" Chris Ding, bruised and somewhat disoriented, awoke on a bed, finding herself seemingly in a hunter's home.

"You're finally awake." Just as she was still wondering, a young man walked in. "Three days ago, you suddenly fell from the sky..."

"Wu Zhi? Wu Zhi?" She continuously transmitted her voice to the bracelet, but there was no response from within.

"It seems she teleported me here and then fell into a deep sleep..."

Watching the goddess before him lost in thought, the young man Lei Ang, who had been speaking voluminously, was once again dumbfounded. Having grown up in this countryside, he had never seen a girl so beautiful.

Especially Chris Ding's innate charm ability, combined with her pure, saintly attire, formed a stark and striking contrast.

"This is the Latin Alliance."

"Thank you for saving me." She smiled back, causing Lei Ang to blush once more at his earlier gaffe, and for a moment, the words he wanted to say caught in his throat.

"To think I ended up in South America... That madman's final strike actually caused such massive interference!" Chris Ding fell into deep thought, while Lei Ang beside her watched intently.

At this time, in South America, led by a group of Fifth-Tier powerhouses, all forces south of the American Federation had united to form a new nation named the Latin Alliance, collectively confronting the aggressive great enemy from the north.

During the "Color Revolution" nine years ago, all non-white citizens of the American Federation were expelled from the country, with the vast majority of them settling in the surrounding nations.

Still possessing considerable wealth and influence, and harboring extreme hatred for American racism, they, with the secret support of the Huaxia Federation, ultimately integrated to form the Latin Alliance, designed to contend with the American Federation.

Originally, the Latin Alliance could not have been a match for the American Federation in any aspect. However, they possessed a massive advantage that the American Federation lacked: the Amazon Secret Realm, one of the Big Four Mystical Realms, had fallen entirely within their territory. By relying on a large number of fearless adventurers, the Alliance acquired an astonishing quantity of heavenly materials and earthly treasures, thereby maintaining a high-end combat force sufficient for self-preservation.
