Chapter 296: Author's Note on Serialization
After eight months of writing, starting on September 4, 2016, this book has finally been released for serialization.
Originally, I had a lot to say, but I'll spare you the sentimental stuff. In short, I hope everyone will continue to support me by subscribing. This author, who still hasn't mastered the art of filler, promises that after going premium, the chapters won't become 'watered down.' Because, frankly, I believe filler wastes both my time and the reader's. The original purpose of writing was to share stories; forcibly adding a bunch of skippable content serves no purpose other than inflating word counts. I don't rely on this book for a living, so there's no need to churn out useless words just to squeeze out more money. I personally feel that what I've written is certainly worth the roughly ten cents a day you spend on subscriptions. 666!
Furthermore, I've revised quite a few things in the earlier chapters of this book, including the much-maligned 'Dragon Group'... Back when I first plunged into the world of web novels, stories featuring the name 'Dragon Group' had almost entirely faded into obscurity, so I found it difficult to grasp why so many people complained when I used that 'trope.' Since you wanted a change, I'll switch it to the Dao Academy, which definitely sounds more prestigious. In any case, I'm utterly hopeless at coming up with names, ORZ.
I've probably already changed about half of the instances where 'Dragon Group' appeared in the first hundred-plus chapters today, and I expect the remaining ones to be fully revised within the next couple of days.
