Chapter 77-1: Clone Gameplay Black Tide Enhancement (1)

Primordial Altar.

Qi Sheng quickly flipped through the list of the newly launched Trading House functions with his mind.

He had designed the Trading House interface to be very aesthetically pleasing.

At the top of the interface was a row of category tags, divided into several major categories: armed items, resource materials (spirit plants, spiritual ore), rare monster souls (Tier 4 and above monster souls can be traded), and custom weapons and items. Under each major category tag were even more detailed subcategories, allowing players to quickly locate items of interest.

Players only needed to touch the category item bar with their mind, and the corresponding list would unfold like a scroll from left to right.

The central area of the interface was the item display section, which used dynamic 3D models that could be dragged and rotated for viewing.

On the right side of the interface was a convenient search box where players could input keywords to quickly search for specific items or narrow the search range through filters such as price range, durability, or whether to allow a premium.

At the bottom of the interface was a scrolling ticker of transaction records, updating real-time transaction information.

On the left side of the interface were functional options like transaction records and favorites, making it easy for players to manage their trading information and track price fluctuations of items they were interested in.

For each item displayed, players could click to see detailed descriptions and seller remarks.

However, recently, quite a few bizarrely priced items with laughable remarks had appeared among the items for sale, especially when sorting by highest price, where the item descriptions were downright fantastical.

Mining Pickaxe (Durability: 1)

Seller: Loli Carries Big Cannon

Price: 999,999 sacrificial power.

Remark: 1% new, personally used by a grown woman, a great helper in the Shadowed Cavern, bore witness to my hard labor in dim environments and provided my startup funds for growth. If not for needing funds to open a star vein slot, I would never sell it.

Rock (Ordinary)

Seller: Staying Up Cultivating Immortality

Price: 999,999 sacrificial power

Remark: That’s right, this is the rock I picked up by the roadside in Emperor’s Mound Village. It was also the first combat item I used after entering the game. It hurts when thrown, and my battle record can prove it. It carries great meaning for me. Parting with it is painful, but for just six nines, you can take this artifact home forever. If you’re broke, don’t even look. You couldn’t afford this treasure anyway.

Broken Saber (Damaged)

Seller: Unknown (Hidden Identity)

Price: 999,999 sacrificial power

Remark: An ancient battlefield artifact. Though this is but a broken short saber, it has witnessed countless cycles of seasons. Time has carved indelible marks upon it. It was once the loyal companion of a brave warrior, witnessing the raging fires of ancient battlefields and accompanying the warrior through lonely nights of vigil. The tiny cracks and signs of wear are scars from countless clashes with enemies. Each varying scratch records the foes it once cleaved and the irreversible sacrifices made. The broken edge most clearly conveys a sense of desolation and tragic grandeur, representing the moment it exhausted its strength in one final battle to protect its master, ultimately breaking in its heroic stand.

The scabbard has long been lost to history, leaving only this solitary broken blade, like a veteran who has lost his comrades, quietly recounting past glory and sorrow. Whenever night falls and moonlight bathes the ruins of the ancient battlefield, the broken saber emits a faint glow. That is its soul whispering, a remembrance of the past, and a hope for the future.

Summary: Though I picked up this short saber on the ancient battlefield, it records a tragic history of war and holds great significance. Take it home for permanent collection for just six nines.

There were many similar high-priced gag items in the Trading House.

The players listing these items never actually intended to sell them. After all, not only could ordinary players not afford such prices, even Qi Sheng himself, as the one secretly controlling everything, didn’t have the means to purchase them. They were purely for show, meant to attract attention in the Trading House.

Aside from the gag listings, mainstream item prices in the Trading House generally stayed below 200 sacrificial power points.

For example, the arms products sold by the Doomsday Technology Guild. Their trading model had shifted from private remote transactions to Trading House sales. Listing items under the custom goods category, they sold quite a lot daily.

Among all the consigned items, the fastest price increase was seen in Iron Shell Bug silk.

When the Trading House feature first launched, each batch of Iron Shell Bug silk sold for 50 sacrificial power points. Today, the price had already risen to 85 sacrificial power points per batch.

Compared to the initial 4 sacrificial power points obtained from sacrificing to the Emperor’s Sign, the price had increased more than twentyfold.

The surge in price was tied to the emergence of a group of fishing-focused players in the game. Iron Shell Bug silk was currently the only material available for crafting fishing lines.

The launch of the Trading House had made player growth much more efficient.

In particular, the Wanted Listings feature in the Trading House provided great convenience for players with specific needs.

A large number of players were posting their requests there, such as buying sacrificial power with cash, purchasing resources with cash, or hiring players to help with leveling up.

There was no longer any need to flood the regional chat channels. Players could now directly use the Wanted Listings in the Trading House to precisely find their target audience.

Players who wanted to sell services could also list their service descriptions in the Trading House and wait for interested players to contact them privately.

After five days online, the Trading House was seeing increasingly high usage among the player base.

After reviewing the Trading House information, Qi Sheng shifted his gaze to the forum and started browsing the posts on the trending board.
