Chapter 365

Saint Seiya world, Asgard.

The darkened Hilda sat on the throne, looking down arrogantly at the subordinates below and several Saints.

Just moments ago, the darkened Hilda had issued the order to wage war against the Sanctuary.

Most of the high-ranking officials in Asgard actually opposed this order.

After all, in this world, the strength of the Sanctuary was well-known to all, while Asgard, in the shadow of the Greek gods, had always been a marginal power—an insignificant force. To go against such a top-tier power like the Sanctuary? That was madness.

But Hilda’s prestige in Asgard was too high—higher even than Saori Kido’s prestige in the Sanctuary at the same time—especially since the Sanctuary had just undergone a recent internal conflict.

Moreover, Hilda had just reactivated the Saints who had been dormant for centuries.

So even though some opposed, under Hilda’s strong pressure, they had to suppress their dissatisfaction and obey the order obediently.

Of course, that does not mean Hilda’s decision had no opposition at all.

The only dissenter was Hilda’s sister, Freya. Just now, Freya was secretly eavesdropping outside the hall. After learning of Hilda’s decision, she was preparing to secretly flee and inform the Sanctuary.

But although Freya was Hilda’s sister, she was just a powerless mortal, so her actions basically had no influence on Asgard’s forthcoming plans.

Therefore, given the current situation, war between Asgard and the Sanctuary was inevitable.

The sealed true soul of Hilda watched helplessly and anxiously.

But now, besides hoping that Josh would fulfill their agreement quickly, she had no other means.

Just when she was extremely anxious, the communicator finally rang.

Hilda hurriedly answered.

“Mr. Kane, when exactly can you help me get free? That evil soul has already officially sent warriors to declare war on the Sanctuary!” As soon as the call connected, Hilda anxiously asked.

“Your Majesty, no need to rush. I will send someone to help you right away. But don’t you think this scene is not very suitable now?” Josh replied after looking at Hilda’s surroundings via the communication.

Hilda thought about it—it was possible that there were several spies from the Sea Realm among the high ranks inside the hall.

“But that evil soul has already sent Stur to assassinate Athena. If I don’t recall him soon…” Hilda remained anxious.

“No need to be so anxious. I actually think your war against the Sanctuary isn’t entirely a bad thing!” Josh said nonchalantly.

“What do you mean by that, sir?” Hilda frowned.

“What’s beyond doubt is that your greatest enemy isn’t really the Sanctuary, but the Sea Realm, right?” Josh countered. “And I imagine that even if you get free, you probably won’t want to retaliate against the Sea Realm. You’ll even have to worry about whether the Sea Realm will force Asgard under control!”

“Of course!” Hilda nodded in agreement. The Sea Realm had deceived her so much, she naturally hated them. But the Sea Realm’s strength was undeniable. If she could just break free from their control, she would be grateful—revenge was just a thought, nothing more. Not to be oppressed any further by the Sea Realm was already a blessing.

“If that’s the case, have you considered letting the Sanctuary know that starting war with them isn’t your divine realm’s original intention, but that you were coerced by the Sea Realm?” Josh smiled and asked.

“You mean using others as a weapon?” Hilda immediately understood Josh’s meaning. “No, I can’t do that!”

Hilda’s stubbornness and “goodness” made Josh a bit impatient, but he still advised, “How is that using others as a weapon? The Sanctuary always prides itself on justice. Facing the Sea Realm, a power that poisons the world, it’s only right they intervene!”

“Then I can just confess everything to Athena and request protection. Why must I fight the Sanctuary?” Hilda still refused to be moved.

“Naive…fire doesn’t hurt until it burns you! Asgard has never been under the Sanctuary’s protection. If you don’t declare war on the Sanctuary, then the Sea Realm’s oppression of Asgard is just a conflict between two powers. On what grounds will the Sanctuary protect you? Or do you think Athena will risk plunging the whole land into war with the Sea Realm just to protect you?” Josh asked disdainfully.

Hilda did not answer but knew well that if the Sea Realm didn’t openly wage war on the Sanctuary but only oppressed Asgard, the possibility of the Sanctuary protecting Asgard and fighting the Sea Realm was almost zero.

“All right, the meeting’s over. I’ll send someone to help you first!” While they were talking, the darkened Hilda had ended the meeting and returned to her bedroom. Seeing this, Josh immediately sent a trade request to Hilda’s true soul.

“What is this?” Hilda was very surprised to see that Josh was sending a single person for the trade.

“This is one of my subordinate gods, named Loken. He also carries a divine artifact—enough to break the seal of the Nibelungen Ring!” Josh introduced.

The Loken Josh spoke of was naturally Loki.

However, Loki already existed in the Saint Seiya world and was an arch-enemy of Odin’s faction, to which Hilda was loyal.

To avoid unnecessary association in Hilda’s mind, Josh simply had Loki borrow the name “Loken” in the Saint Seiya world.

Hilda was also quite surprised to hear Josh say that the one sent was a god carrying a divine artifact.

Though since first contact with the trade device and communication, Hilda had realized Josh was extraordinary, especially since he had promised to help her break free from the Nibelungen Ring’s control.

But casually sending a divine subordinate like this still felt unbelievable to her.

Could it be that in Josh’s world, gods were so worthless?

However, she didn’t ask further, instead eagerly agreeing to the trade, and at the first moment after the trade was completed, she released Loki from the system space.

“Who are you?” The moment Loki appeared, the darkened Hilda, who was preparing to rest, sensed him and shouted, questioning loudly!

“Me? Of course, I’m here to save you!” Loki looked at Hilda with a trademark sly smile. Before Hilda could react, a powerful small cosmos suddenly enveloped the entire room, and a great sword full of malice appeared in his hand, swinging heavily down towards Hilda!
