Chapter 336

Night fell on Pandora. Jake Sully sat in his wheelchair, gazing at the Avatar research facility inside the human base with a look of reminiscence.

After tonight, he would never return here again.

Today was not only his birthday, but tomorrow, with the help of the Na’vi’s sacred tree “Eywa,” he would undergo the soul transfer ceremony, completely abandoning his crippled human body and fundamentally becoming a true Na’vi, the leader of the Na’vi people in this jungle.

So he prepared to make one final recording here, to bid farewell to his human identity once and for all.

“Jake, come out quickly, something’s happened!” Just as Jake skillfully activated the electronic recording system and was about to speak, urgent knocking and shouting from his girlfriend Neytiri came from outside the door.

Hearing her voice, Jake didn’t dare to delay. He hurriedly put on his mask and rushed to the door.

“What’s going on?” Opening the electronic door, Jake looked up at his over three-meter-tall girlfriend and asked in confusion.

“Look at the sky!” Neytiri pointed anxiously at the sky.

Jake raised his head in confusion and looked in the direction Neytiri was pointing. What met his eyes were over a dozen extremely bright stars in the night sky.

Upon seeing those stars, Jake’s expression immediately changed because he remembered very clearly—there had never been that many bright stars in this part of the sky, and new stars couldn't suddenly appear in clusters like that.

There was only one possibility in such a situation: spaceships were decelerating.

But the Venture Star had only just departed—how could Earth have sent more ships so quickly? And over a dozen of them?

Jake Sully instantly lost his composure.

“It’s new Sky People—they’re back! We must return to the tribe immediately!” Jake Sully said to Neytiri right away… Now, he no longer even used the term “human,” but like the local Na’vi, referred to them as “Sky People.”

Upon hearing Jake Sully’s words, Neytiri didn’t hesitate. She picked him up, mounted her ikran, and flew toward the tribe.

But what Jake Sully didn’t know was that those bright stars suddenly appearing in the sky were indeed spaceships—but not the Federation ships from Earth that he imagined.

They were advanced warships from another universe, led by the not-dead-yet Quaritch.

And these ships weren’t simply decelerating—they were descending toward Pandora. Unlike the Federation ships like the Venture Star, the warships provided to Quaritch by Josh were all capable of landing on planetary surfaces.

Although doing so required tremendous energy and high-quality materials for the ships…

But with materials from the Star Wars universe, the structure of these ships was extremely solid, and their size wasn’t so massive that they couldn’t withstand gravity.

As for energy—Josh wasn’t short on that at all.

And once Quaritch established a foothold on Pandora, energy could soon be self-sustained.

One ship after another landed steadily on Pandora. The flames from their engines easily scorched clearings in the jungle, providing flat ground for use as bases.

Once the ships stabilized and their hatches opened, countless drones, ground vehicles, and robots began disembarking in an orderly fashion, exploring the surrounding environment and beginning to establish camps.

However, one of the ships didn’t release machines or humans—

It unleashed a massive group of dinosaurs fitted with electronic devices!

Velociraptors, pterosaurs, tyrannosaurs—and even several dragons!

Of course, these dragons weren’t from Daenerys’ world in Game of Thrones, nor were they the intelligent dragons of Azeroth.

They were proto-dragons from Northrend in the world of Azeroth.

Though these distant relatives of Azeroth’s five-colored dragons had relatively low intelligence and barely used magic, they possessed physical power and vitality on par with the mighty five-colored dragons.

And due to their lower intelligence, they were easier to tame.

Conveniently, the Vrykul sold to Josh by Abbendis were especially skilled at taming proto-dragons.

So through a transaction between Josh and Abbendis, the proto-dragons, like the dinosaur troops supplied by Yuri, officially became part of Josh’s military units and inventory.

Quaritch had requested these dinosaurs and proto-dragons from Josh for one reason only—to teach Jake Sully a lesson!

“You think you beat me using Pandora’s biological armies? You even tamed the most fearsome creature on Pandora, the Great Leonopteryx, and became its rider?”

“Fine then—I won’t bully you with machines. I’ll fight you with a biological army as well.”

“If it’s giant creatures you like, let’s see whose are stronger—Pandora’s native species, or these genetically modified ancient Earth dinosaurs and inter-universal dragons. Let’s see if they can pull off a biological invasion!”

“Go hunt, children! Let the adorable creatures of this world feel your enthusiasm!” Colonel Quaritch snarled as he activated the control devices for these bio-weapons. Instantly, the terrifying creatures receiving commands scattered toward the depths of the jungle.

Very quickly, one proto-dragon spotted a Leonopteryx circling near the landing zone.

This Leonopteryx was the ruler of this patch of jungle and had been drawn by the commotion of Quaritch’s fleet landing to investigate.

But as soon as it saw the proto-dragon charging at it without hesitation, it too reacted without any civility.

As Pandora’s top predator, over ten meters long with a wingspan of more than twenty-five meters, the Leonopteryx was not much smaller than the proto-dragon. So it felt no fear toward this unfamiliar creature—only that its authority was being challenged.

It immediately dove toward the proto-dragon without hesitation.

The two clashed fiercely. The proto-dragon’s claws dug into the Leonopteryx’s body, while the Leonopteryx retaliated by tearing at the dragon’s scales with its claws and fiercely biting at its neck with its terrifying maw.

But then the proto-dragon swung its neck and slammed head-to-head, mouth-to-mouth with the Leonopteryx—and unleashed a torrent of dragonfire…

Don’t assume proto-dragons lack breath attacks just because they’re weaker than the five-colored dragons. Their breath isn’t as powerful, but it’s still formidable.

And against Pandora’s native species—it was more than enough!

The Leonopteryx’s head was nearly charred to a crisp. Its massive body lost support and plummeted toward the ground.

The proto-dragon dove, seized the lifeless corpse of the Leonopteryx, landed on a giant tree, and began devouring its prize.

Elsewhere in the jungle, flocks of pterosaurs were clashing with banshees. Tyrannosaurs were chasing massive thunder leopards, and packs of velociraptors were hunting sturmbeests, direhorses, and others…

It wasn’t just the Na’vi. Now, every species on Pandora was facing a more ferocious alien invasion!
