Chapter 320

“Who did you say?” At the negotiation site, Josh asked Hordak, somewhat surprised.

“She-Ra. The protector of the rebels. She’s formidable,” Hordak replied, narrowing his eyes. “You know her?”

Just now, after both sides had confirmed some terms of cooperation, Hordak gave Josh a more detailed introduction about several of Etheria’s main opponents, and mentioned the name She-Ra.

“Blonde hair, rides a winged steed, carries a glowing sword?” Josh asked again, needing to be sure.

It couldn’t be... Could it really be that She-Ra? And where there’s She-Ra, could He-Man—Champion of Grayskull—be far behind?

Wait a minute... weren’t She-Ra and He-Man characters from a different universe? Didn’t they used to be under DC’s umbrella before switching studios? Even Superman made a cameo once…

Just using an interstellar teleportation array, could it be that Josh accidentally opened a passage to the DC universe?

Doesn’t make sense!

“Huh? Looks like you really know her? You’re not her hired help, are you?” Hordak narrowed his eyes, becoming somewhat wary.

“Heh, Prince Hordak, you’re joking. If I were her hired help, would I be here asking you for information about her?” Josh smiled and asked back.

“Maybe not…” Though feeling Josh made sense, Hordak refused to admit defeat verbally.

“Heh, as an ally, I won’t hide anything from you. Actually, I have nothing to do with her, even some grudges… If I’m not mistaken, she has a brother, right?” Josh said casually.

“Huh? You even know He-Man?” Hordak was very surprised.

“What? Is it strange to know the sister but not the brother? He-Man gave me plenty of trouble,” Josh pretended to be indignant.

“When and where did you see He-Man?” Hordak asked nervously.

“About half a year ago, in a star region occupied by our Ouroboros organization. Why?” Josh casually lied.

“Damn, he’s not dead yet!” As soon as Josh finished speaking, Hordak suddenly roared, causing the nearby subordinates on both sides to turn their heads.

“Dead? Why do you say that?” Josh looked genuinely surprised this time.

“Five years ago, He-Man clashed in a death duel with my treacherous former apprentice, Skeletor. The fool destroyed the Orb of Etheria, the planet’s primary magical core. They both vanished!” Hordak laughed triumphantly. Two thorns removed in one stroke—who wouldn’t be pleased?

Hearing Hordak describe how He-Man and the Skeletor disappeared — this was suspiciously similar to when Rogers and the Red Skull disappeared back then. Could it be that these two were also sent to some corner of another star system?

But Hordak stopped laughing after a while, because he realized from Josh’s words that He-Man was not dead, which was a big problem.

And if He-Man wasn’t dead, then what about his even stronger traitorous apprentice, Skeletor? Was he really dead?

Thinking of this, Hordak suddenly felt cooperating with Josh’s suddenly appeared Ouroboros organization was not so bad. If these two annoying enemies returned, at least he wouldn’t have to face them alone.

What Hordak didn’t know was that Josh was already reconsidering their cooperation.

After all, He-Man and She-Ra were frontline main characters, probably not easy to deal with.

But She-Ra...a replica of Wonder Woman, her image was rock solid.

Hmm, no, I have a wife...

“Then, Lord Kane, do you know where He-Man went? Have you ever seen a skeleton wearing a blue robe called the Skeletor?” Hordak asked Josh at that moment.

“Not sure. He fought my subordinates and caused some losses, then disappeared. As for Skeletor, I’ve never heard of him!” Josh shook his head. He had never actually seen those two; it was just a guess. Where would he find them?

“If there’s any news about them, Lord Kane, please inform me promptly. They are very troublesome enemies. I’m very willing to work with Lord Kane to eliminate them, so they won’t hinder our cause!” Hordak nodded seriously.

“So, Hordak no longer doubts the alliance between our two families?” Hearing Hordak’s words, Josh smiled.

“Of course. To cooperate with a strong person like you and a powerful organization like Ouroboros under your command is definitely very pleasant. With your help, those rebel forces in Etheria should be easily wiped out!” Hordak laughed heartily.

Of course, in his heart he was thinking that after wiping out those rebel forces, the first thing to do would be to eliminate Josh’s so-called Ouroboros organization that nobody knew where it came from!

Josh thought the same, even with bigger ambitions.

For ambitious people like them, if they could monopolize power, why share with others?

“Since that’s the case, then let’s work together to eliminate She-Ra and the remaining rebel forces first!” The hands of two scheming villains clasped together.

But at that moment, Josh’s expression changed slightly.

“Lord Kane, is something wrong?” Hordak asked seeing this.

“Heh, just a small matter. A few little mice broke in at home and have been caught by my subordinates. Since the alliance has been settled, I’ll take my leave for today. I’ll properly entertain Prince Hordak another time!” Josh explained.

“I see, those little mice are really annoying. I won’t keep you, but if we’re talking about entertaining, it must be my turn to host!” Hordak immediately guessed what the “little mice” meant. It must have been those rebels discovering Josh’s forces and coming to confront him, probably causing a conflict.

This was very good news for Hordak.

The more the two sides exhausted each other, the better for him to reap the benefits.

After parting, Josh immediately used teleportation magic to return to the Ouroboros headquarters, established with the teleportation array as the core.

Though only a few days had passed, with one warship as a base and countless engineering robots’ efforts, a huge military fortress had already taken shape.

“Where are the people?” The moment he stepped out of the teleportation gate, Josh asked the High Elf Archmage guarding there.

“They’re in the magical trap I set, but one woman is very powerful. I’m afraid my magic trap won’t hold her for long,” the Archmage replied respectfully.

“Heh, take me to see her!” If even the High Elf Archmage couldn’t control her, then it was very likely that extraordinary She-Ra!
