Chapter Another delay and schedule updates |
Hello,
I am once again behind on today's chapter. Sorry that's happened with such a fat cliff. I underestimated how much extra time I'd want to spend on the details for the return of the king. One day my work schedule will be perfectly organized, but that day isn't today.
I'm going to skip today and have a normal single chapter Thursday. I'd rather do that than risk another unexpected interruption like this.

Speaking of breaks being scheduled an appropriate amount of time beforehand, this year I've decided to do two one-month breaks on Royal Road. The first will be in July since I'll be heading to LitRPG Con that month and it'll give me time to prep for Dragon Con as well. The second will be in December for holidays and family stuff.
We won't be doing the weird 'one chapter less on holiday weeks' kind of breaks that I tried to do last year. I can barely keep up with when holidays are, so taking larger breaks just makes more sense for predictability and convenience.
