Chapter 500

If the earlier reports were still within the Mages’ expectations, then Laura’s next message completely defied them.

“...Two neutral Ninth-Level Immortals, previously aligned with the Primordial Heavenly Sovereign, have rebelled. Before leaving, they disrupted the Zhou Tian Star Array, destroyed one-third of the Desire Realm, and released demons to block pursuit. We cannot yet confirm if this is part of Daoyuan’s plan.”

The entire front erupted with movement.

The offensives against the three Demon-Suppression Abysses accelerated once again—yet the Transdimensional Beings within now unleashed power far surpassing anything seen before, capable of clashing directly with True Spirit Mages.

Randolph and Nehem expended massive resources to set up teleportation arrays, summoning the True Spirits still stationed in Xinyati to hasten the war’s progress—hoping to capture the Behemoth limbs before Daoyuan’s ascension.

Meanwhile, Laura pursued the two rebel Immortals. Their sudden defection made no sense—such an act could only mean something far more sinister. She suspected they were searching for the true Outer World Heavenly Demons hidden deep within. Only she possessed the ability to track them.

Born from the ancient magical systems, the Third Holy Tower’s magic shared similarities with Immortal Dao techniques—particularly in the principle of merging with heaven and earth.

Laura wielded this power with even greater mastery than the Ninth-Level Immortals.

When the rebels slipped into the Main Demon-Suppression Abyss during the chaos of the broken Zhou Tian Star Array and the awakening of the Ninth-Level Demons, the Great Heavenly Sovereign could not stop them—but Laura seized that moment, entering alongside them, unseen.

The inner landscape of the Main Abyss was unlike any other.

Sealed jointly by the Primordial Heavenly Sovereign and several Ninth-Level Immortals, it contained no organized demonic societies.

Only low-tier, mindless monsters roamed freely, while eerie cities housing higher demons lay bound beneath layers of Immortal Seals, unable to move.

Laura could feel the overwhelming presence of Transdimensional Beings—their essence everywhere—yet curiously, there was no single focal point to their existence.

Upon entry, the rebels’ bodies and souls warped, transforming into half-Immortal, half-Demonic entities, merging seamlessly with the Abyssal environment.

Fortunately, Laura had marked them beforehand—without those seals, even a small distance would have lost them forever.

The Abyss beneath the Immortal Realm was vast, equal in scope to the heavens above.

The two rebels separated, moving at blinding speed, tracing a complex pattern through the darkness.

At each key node, demons that had been waiting self-destructed, their essence absorbed into the growing ritual.

For seven days and seven nights, they carved an immense formation into the Abyss.

Then, unexpectedly, rather than approaching the center, they converged at a small, unremarkable corner.

Without a word, they activated the formation—streams of concentrated demonic essence turned solid, boring downward like drills.

From the depths, liquid energy—like flowing blood—began to rise and spread.

As this occurred, the entire Abyss’s energy levels subtly decreased.

A will awakened.

The space-time around the rebels distorted—a gate slowly opened.

They stepped through—

—and the will fully awakened.

The surface of the Main Abyss itself... was the torso of a Transdimensional Behemoth!

The ground convulsed, erupting into forests of swords; demonic winds howled across the void, annihilating all they touched.

Though the rebels did not detect her, the Behemoth’s will immediately locked onto Laura—and struck.

The attack was overwhelming—Laura was obliterated into nothingness.

But she was one of the few in the entire Mage World who truly mastered Rebirth Magic—the highest and most secret knowledge of resurrection, known only to her and Croft.

She revived instantly, unharmed.

The Behemoth’s will struck again—and again. Millions of fatal blows fell each second. Laura perished and revived millions of times, unbothered, walking calmly through the endless barrage toward the gate.

Before the rebels could even react, she stood beside them, smiling faintly—mocking either the Behemoth or them.

Moments later, all three vanished.

The Behemoth’s will roared in fury, overturning the entire Abyss, triggering immense Immortal Seals.

Several Ninth-Level Demons escaped, only to be instantly suppressed by the Heavenly Sovereigns outside.

In Da Luo Heaven, the Primordial Heavenly Sovereign watched with eyes as cold as still water.

He had known everything—and did nothing to stop it.

Laura has found the world of the Outer World Heavenly Demons!

The latest intelligence reached the sisters in Xinyati.

Wendy burst into the command center.

“They’re hidden in a distorted region between the Cataclysm Zone and the normal void. Exact coordinates are indeterminable.”

Aisha added,

“Laura reports that the Demon World constantly shifts with the void’s self-repair and demonic erosion. Its movement speed is extreme. The Heavenly Demons themselves are strange beings that exist both as thought and as flesh. In thought form, they can manifest fantasy into reality; in flesh form, they’re like regular demons—but immensely stronger.”

The True Spirit Mages studied the full report, then distributed access to their senior war advisors.

Meyer spoke next:

“The two rebel Immortals delivered Daoyuan Heavenly Sovereign’s upcoming ascension message to the so-called Primordial Heavenly Demons—the six original entities. Each of them has reached the Ninth-Level’s threshold. Their six worlds are all self-created through manifested imagination. Their intent in receiving the message... is to launch a total war against the Immortal Realm.”

Adam reread the report several times.

He frowned.

“Their goal isn’t the four limbs or the Demon-Suppression Abyss... then what exactly is Daoyuan trying to do?”
