Chapter 723: Humanoid Weapon

**Chapter 723: Humanoid Weapon**

Having been trapped in the Reflection Dimension for tens of millions of years, Suoyuan’s understanding and control over dimensional passages far surpassed any wizard present.

This was no longer a gap in technique, but an overwhelming difference in the sheer scale of experience.

For a time, the situation fell into a stalemate.

Suoyuan continued to suppress them with dimensional differentials, yet Jie Ming stubbornly endured every strike.

Faced with such attacks, the wizards could only hide behind Jie Ming and counterattack.

However, none of their counterattacks could fundamentally sever the connection between Suoyuan and the Reflection Dimension.

Suoyuan’s dragon pupils slowly focused on Jie Ming.

It had clearly realized that the key to breaking the deadlock lay with this walking shield.

A trace of contemplation flashed through those dark golden dragon eyes.

Then, Jie Ming suddenly sensed something was wrong.

Something was attempting to descend upon him.

It tried to bypass all defenses and resistances, directly “writing” a result onto his body.

Yet the moment that power landed on him, it felt as if it had slammed into a completely mismatched wall.

Even Jie Ming himself only realized what had happened after the force slid away.

Suoyuan’s dragon pupils widened abruptly.

It was an undisguised shock, strikingly conspicuous within those enormous eyes.

Unwilling to accept it, Suoyuan unleashed the same method once more, this time with even greater force.

Jie Ming felt a surge of heat in his chest as several fine wounds suddenly appeared, dark golden blood seeping from his skin.

In the next instant, however, the wounds were smoothed over by the self-healing ability of his body forging method.

Suoyuan increased its power again.

The wounds reappeared.

They healed once more.

After several rounds of this, the wounds on Jie Ming’s body grew smaller and smaller, nearly erased the moment they emerged.

He lowered his head to look at a faint scar on his arm that had just healed, and a spark of insight suddenly flashed through his mind.

This feeling was very familiar.

He had once fought a sixth-ring wizard named “Imaginary.”

The Imaginary Wizard controlled the Imaginary Law, which could ignore all processes and directly manifest the desired result, applying it straight to the target’s body.

The method of attack Suoyuan was using now was almost identical.

The difference was that last time, he had taken quite a beating.

From nearly being killed in one move at the start, to later adapting and evolving through his body forging method until he gained complete immunity to the Imaginary Law. The resistance accumulated along that path would not lose effectiveness just because the name had changed.

At their core, the Imaginary Law and “reality alteration by thought” were branches of the same technological tree… After all, the Imaginary Law itself had been developed by wizards in their research into reality alteration by thought.

The Imaginary Law represented the standardized research results of wizard civilization along this path, while what Suoyuan was currently using was likely a version it had figured out on its own within the Reflection Dimension.

There were differences between the two.

But their core mechanisms were connected.

His immunity to the Imaginary Law could at least neutralize the majority of the power behind Suoyuan’s move.

“Broadleaf!”

Jie Ming’s voice exploded simultaneously within the spiritual seas of all the wizards.

“This guy possesses an ability similar to the Imaginary Law! It can directly ‘write’ damage onto the target, bypassing all conventional defenses!”

Wizard Broadleaf whipped his head around to look at him.

Those deep brown eyes swept over Jie Ming’s body. The wounds appeared and healed, yet his combat state showed no sign of decline.

Broadleaf’s expression suddenly shifted from focused to an extremely rare look of shock.

“You can even resist this thing?”

His voice rang in Jie Ming’s spiritual sea, his tone having already abandoned its usual steadiness.

“Just what kind of monster are you?”

Jie Ming looked speechless and did not answer: “Believe it or not, I can just step aside!”

Clearly, this was not the time for discussion.

Broadleaf took a deep breath and his expression regained its calm.

“So this guy has mastered such an ability… If he wants to run now, it really won’t be easy to stop him. We can’t drag this out any longer. What a shame—I originally wanted to see what other abilities he still possessed.”

“Yeah, yeah…” the other wizards chimed in.

“Hey, you guys are clearly treating me like a free shield!”

Ignoring Jie Ming’s grumbling, Broadleaf and the other seventh-ring wizards quickly exchanged glances in the void. A wordless understanding was reached in that single look.

Several wizards skilled in binding simultaneously increased their output. Elemental chains and law halos, regardless of cost, wrapped around the dragon’s body once more. Enduring the destructive force of the dimensional differential, they pinned Suoyuan firmly in place.

Suoyuan let out an enraged dragon roar. The dimensional passage behind it swelled violently, about to unleash an even fiercer counterattack.

Then, it saw Wizard Broadleaf lift Jie Ming.

This was not a metaphor.

He really lifted him up!

Broadleaf’s spiritual power enveloped Jie Ming’s entire true body, pulling him up from his position.

At the same time, the layers of protective spells the other wizards had stacked on Jie Ming blazed to their utmost limit. Radiance from solidified law domains covered his body like translucent armor.

Wizard Broadleaf made a sword-swinging motion.

Jie Ming’s face wore a dead-fish expression, but his body honestly followed the guidance of that spiritual power. He clasped his hands together above his head and stretched out, assuming the most hydrodynamically efficient posture.

Then… he transformed into a humanoid greatsword and smashed toward Suoyuan’s dragon head!

The thousand-meter true body drew a straight dark golden trajectory through the void. Its speed was so extreme that the chaotic turbulence in the endless chaotic void was ionized by friction, leaving trails of elemental light.

In its entire life, Suoyuan had probably never seen a wizard used as a battering ram.

A flash of incredulous astonishment appeared in its dragon pupils.

BOOM!!!

Jie Ming’s true body slammed solidly into the center of its dragon head.

The shockwave exploded outward from the point of impact. Suoyuan’s dragon head snapped backward violently, its pupils losing focus for an instant as its consciousness went momentarily blank.

The dimensional passage behind it fluctuated wildly, unstable cracks appearing along its edges.

The wizards who had long been waiting for this moment acted in unison.

Dimensional sealing spells embedded themselves into the cracks at the passage’s edge, pushing the unstable structure toward collapse.

The passage began collapsing inward from the edges. The dark halo of the Reflection Dimension was completely severed within a few breaths, forcibly cutting off the connection between Suoyuan and the Reflection Dimension.

Another group of wizards followed up immediately, layering sealing spells one after another onto the dragon’s body.

Physical seals locked down its muscles and bones, energy seals locked down its law patterns and energy core, and spiritual seals locked down its conscious activity.

One wizard, still uneasy, even added a layer of time seal.

The flow of time was compressed to nearly zero, freezing even the movement of thought.

In the final instant before the time seal closed, Suoyuan’s dark golden dragon pupils finally regained clarity.

In the next moment, those dragon pupils were completely frozen.

The massive dragon floated silently in the endless chaotic void like an ancient statue sealed within amber.
