Chapter 38: Joining The Battleaxe Martial Arts School (1)

Chu Zhou pondered.

Martial artists generally had four ways out:

First, join the army!

Second, join the martial arts school!

Third, join a financial group!

Fourth, join the mercenaries!

The army was a place where discipline and rules had to be strictly observed. There was not much freedom to speak of.

It didn't suit him too well…

Especially since he had a secret Attribute Board.

Joining a financial group might earn him a lot of money, but he would definitely have to serve the interests of the financial group, or even risk his life…

This was equivalent to a high-level fighter of the financial group.

He did not want to be a high-level fighter.

Mercenary was a special profession. They were groups and individuals who participated in various conflicts and wars for their own benefit.

Mercenaries only fought for money. They could be hired by anyone as long as the price was right.

Chu Zhou did not want to become a slave to money and benefits.

He ruled out joining the mercenaries without thinking.

After careful deliberation, the most suitable thing for him was to join the martial arts school.

The core of the martial arts school was to nurture martial artists.

There would also be various conflicts of interest…

But it was much more innocent.

However, Battleaxe Martial arts school was not the only martial arts school in the world. There were also Nature Martial Arts School and Spirit Martial Arts School.

The three martial arts schools were established by the three strongest experts on Earth.

The Battleaxe Martial arts school was founded by the number one expert on Earth, Dragon.

The Nature Martial Arts School was founded by the second strongest person on Earth, Sol, nicknamed "Sun God"!

The Spirit Martial Arts School was founded by the third strongest person on Earth, Changa Saha.

"Dragon", "Sun God" Sol, and "Changa Saha" were the three strongest people on Earth. They were also the three most powerful and respectable people on Earth.

The three martial arts schools they established were transcendental forces, on the same level as the five strongest countries in the world.

"I have an Attribute Board. Actually, there's not much difference to whichever martial arts school I join… However, Dragon is Chinese, so I'll join the Battleaxe Martial arts school he founded!"

Chu Zhou had already made up his mind as he thought about it.

"Sure!" Chu Zhou nodded at Yang Feng.

"Hahaha, Chu Zhou, you definitely made the right choice by choosing our Battleaxe Martial arts school."

Yang Feng could not help but laugh when he saw Chu Zhou nod.

"Wait a moment. I'll contact the Chief Instructor immediately and tell him about your situation so that we can fight for benefits for you."

With that, he pressed the holo brain on the watch on his right wrist.

A 3D projection of an old man in his fifties immediately appeared in the air.

"Yang Feng, what's the matter?"

"Chief Instructor, I found a super genius here…"

Yang Feng quickly reported Chu Zhou's situation to the old man.

"Get ready to sign the contract. I'll be right there."

The old man immediately cut off the connection after he learned about Chu Zhou's situation.

"Chu Zhou, wait a moment. The Chief Instructor is on his way."

Yang Feng said to Chu Zhou.

Chu Zhou nodded. Waiting a little longer was nothing.

In less than five minutes, the old man whom Yang Feng had just contacted arrived in front of Chu Zhou and the others.

"Are you Chu Zhou? I'm Cui Haichao, the Chief Instructor of Battleaxe Martial arts school in Jiang City. Welcome to Battleaxe Martial arts school."

Cui Haichao was in his fifties, but his face was radiant and his smile was very friendly.

He warmly shook hands with Chu Zhou as soon as he entered.

Chu Zhou knew the reason why this important figure came to see him personally was definitely because he valued him.

Therefore, he did not put on airs and responded with a polite smile.

"Chu Zhou, I heard about your situation from Yang Feng just now…"

"However, I still have to verify it personally. If it's confirmed to be true, I'll report your situation to the Guangdong City Divisional Headquarters and get more start-up funds for you."

Cui Haichao said seriously.

His words were somewhat similar to what Yang Feng had said to Chu Zhou just now.

However, Yang Feng was reporting to him…

And his reporting line was directly to the higher-ups of the Battleaxe Martial arts school.

"Okay!"

Chu Zhou was naturally happy to cooperate if it was to enable him to fight for more benefits.

He tested his Life Field Energy and combat strength again.

Cui Haichao was still very shocked seeing the scene with his own eyes even though he already knew that Chu Zhou's Life Field had indeed reached 17 and his combat power had reached 2,300.

He contacted a Supervisor at the Guangdong City Divisional Headquarters without hesitation.

A 3D projection of a middle-aged man in a suit appeared in front of everyone in no time.

Yang Feng, the Instructor, instinctively became restrained the moment he saw the middle-aged man in the suit.

"Old Cui, are you in the teaching hall? Yang Feng is here too!"

The middle-aged man in the suit glanced at Cui Haichao, Yang Feng, Chu Zhou, and the others and said calmly.

"Supervisor Chen!" Yang Feng quickly greeted him.

"Supervisor Chen… This young man is Chu Zhou, the super genius we found here…"

Cui Haichao explained Chu Zhou's situation.

"What? His Life Field Energy level reached 17? His combat power has also reached 2,300 right after he advanced?"

Supervisor Chen raised his eyebrows when he heard Cui Haichao's report. His dignified face revealed a trace of emotion.

This is truly a super genius!

Even the Martial God Clan might not even possess someone of this caliber.

He looked at Chu Zhou with admiration and said. "Chu Zhou, welcome to our Battleaxe Martial arts school. I understand what Old Cui means…"

"How about this? We'll give you the best treatment as a genius. Your start-up fund will be set at 25 million Alliance Dollars."

    "Third, join a financial group!

    Fourth, join the mercenaries!"

To be honest. To me there's not much difference between these two to me. Mercenaries take jobs from employers. The financial group types do the same. Only difference is that one contract is temporary, while the other is permanent (or, at least longer term).

I’ll allow the nationalism of this level, because if he didn’t add it, he would probably commit suicide on accident by shooting himself in the back of the head 9 times

If it's don't work, just slap yourself couple of times or maybe headbutt the wall.

It has been increasingly common in novels like these that they are like "China numba one!", but I approve of this logic (this time).

Eh I never minded nationalism at any scale or level. It's not like we are better our extremely patriotic peeps just don't exactly normally write light novels... America will always be the leading figure when it comes to belligerent assholed and idiots. Then again I've assumed you also live in the same country as me lol 😂

Also... No matter how the author themes the nations or other people in the story they will inherently always be one thing. A different party from the mc. They have to be antagonistic to the mc. Also, no matter how badly or hate filled it becomes it's always most importantly fictional. The author has every right to make any detail in his own story and in the end those details are fact not opinion. Because it's a world that exists in their mind. Not real.

Even if the author personally insults me and makes me a character in the their book and badmouths or shames me in everyway I'd just laugh as that's not me...
