A few weeks had elapsed since the incident in a small town called Tetomburgh in Viscount Le Gael’s territory.
Alante led the young children and escaped from the Le Gael territory to a remote orphanage.
「Alois-san, can you go to the nearby village to buy something?」
「Yeah… Well, I’ll leave for a while.」
Alante, who was called by Director Heidi, waved his hand toward the children playing in the garden as he went to meet her.
「…Is something the matter, Heidi-san? That look on your face is…」
Heidi shook her head while heaving a sigh.
「Oops… My apologies, I overstepped my boundaries.」
