Chapter 2475: The Full Unsealing of the Demonic Realm

"What’s the situation here?!"

The Demon Sealers that appeared shortly later asked.

"As you can see for yourselves, there is only one seal remaining, and even that has begun to crack," explained the one who arrived first.

"What?! One seal?! I was told there were two seals!" One of them exclaimed in shock.

"There was. Now there is one. That’s just how dire the situation is."

"What should we do?"

"What is there to do but brace ourselves for the worst?"

"To think we will have to fight demons on a wide scale again..."

"At least the world isn’t as weak as it was during our first war with demons."

"And do you think the demons have just been sitting around all this time? There’s a good chance they’ve been cultivating in seclusion, waiting for the day the seal finally breaks!" one of them sighed aloud.

"How many demons could possibly remain? If I remember correctly, the Demonic Realm was originally created by the first demon as a hideout. I’d wager most of them were already eradicated by the Divine Paragon long ago."

It was still common knowledge that the Red Tyrant had created the Demonic Realm in the Nine Heavens, but that belief was merely an ancient assumption.

Very few people knew the actual truth—that the Demonic Realm was not created at all, but was an entirely separate world where demons had originally come from.

"Demons are incapable of procreation, right?"

"I have never heard or seen a demon child before, so..."

Unbeknownst to them, that claim was only half true. While demons were indeed capable of reproducing, such a thing only applied to those who had not yet become Forsaken.

And since only the Forsaken had ever invaded the Nine Heavens, it wasn’t strange that no one had ever seen a demon child before.

"Heavens!" Someone suddenly shouted. "The last seal is breaking!"

"What?!"

Everyone turned toward the entrance to the Demonic Realm. Although they had long expected the seal to eventually break, none of them had anticipated it happening so soon, as not even half a day had passed since the last one broke.

"Is everyone here yet?! Is this every Demon Sealer in the Seventh Heaven?!"

The Demon Sealers hastily gathered in front of the entrance to the Demonic Realm, preparing to fight at any moment.

However, while the Demon Sealers’ attention remained fixed on the seal, numerous silhouettes silently closed in from the distance, gradually surrounding them without their knowledge.

By the time someone noticed their presence, it was already too late.

"D-DEMONS! DEMONS ARE HERE!"

The Demon Sealer who noticed their presence alerted the others.

"What?!"

The Demon Sealers quickly spread their divine sense to see hundreds—if not thousands of demons surrounding them.

"W-What the hell?! Why are there so many demons?!"

"Where the hell did they come from?!"

"Hahaha! Look over there! The intel was right—the seal to the Demonic Realm really is on the verge of breaking!"

Meanwhile, the demons were jumping for joy at the sight of the failing seals. Not only were they fully aware of the situation, someone had clearly informed them in advance. Yet the only ones who should have known about the weakening seals were the Demon Sealing Clan, the Demon Sealing Grotto, and the guards who had fled.

"Someone tipped the demons off about the seals!"

"Damn it! Which bastard did this?!"

"Whoever informed them betrayed all of humanity!"

The Demon Sealers quickly grasped the situation and exploded with rage.

"Kill them all and open the seal to the Demonic Realm! We’re finally going home!"

The demons didn’t waste any time and began attacking the Demon Sealers shortly after their arrival.

Not only did the demons outnumber the Demon Sealers, but they were also all in the Immortal Realm with a few God Ascension sprinkled within.

In the blink of an eye, the area turned into a battlefield.

"Instead of killing them, we should turn them into livestock!"

"There’s no need for livestock! Once the Demonic Realm is opened, we’ll dominate this world again! There will be no shortage of food, and we’ll be able to feast as much as we want!"

There were just over three hundred Demon Sealers at the site, but they were falling at a terrifying pace. Within minutes, nearly half had been killed or devoured by the thousands of demons.

Suddenly, the final seal to the Demonic Realm shuddered—then shattered into countless fragments that dissolved into the air.

A powerful ripple swept across the battlefield, briefly halting the demons’ slaughter as it drew all of their attention.

However, even though all of the seals were gone, there was still a powerful barrier that prevented others from approaching the entrance itself.

Without a word, one of the demons abruptly attacked the barrier, throwing its full strength against it—only for the barrier to remain utterly unmoved.

Seeing this, the others followed suit, hurling their attacks at it with all their might.

Gradually, fine cracks began to spread across its surface.

The Demon Sealers desperately wanted to stop them, but they could do nothing except watch, as every ounce of their strength was already spent just trying to stay alive.

Eventually, the barrier shattered, revealing an open, unobstructed path to the Demonic Realm.

"Home! I can finally go home!" the demons cried as they surged toward the entrance.

Hundreds of demons swarmed toward the entrance, but they all froze as a human hand suddenly emerged from within, clamping around the throat of the foremost demon, who was just a single step away from crossing over.

That demon instinctively clawed at the hand around its neck, but no matter how much strength it used to break free, the human hand remained unmoving.

At the same time, the hand slowly emerged from the entrance, revealing an arm, then a shoulder. Eventually, a human figure stepped out of the portal, his expression perfectly calm.

"Y-You are—!" The demons’ eyes widened in shock and disbelief when they saw his familiar face.

No matter how many years had passed, none of them could ever forget the terror one man had once inflicted on them all.

After a brief, stunned silence, a piercing shriek of terror tore through the air.

"D-Divine Paragon?!"
