Once they were clean and refreshed, Yuan and Lan Yingying headed to the cafeteria for dinner. If he continued cultivating at this rate, Yuan estimated he could achieve a breakthrough to Spirit Apprentice in just six months—far faster than the year he initially anticipated.
The following day during breakfast, Yuan revealed his progress to Lan Yingying.
"In that case, I'll give you my points so that you can speed your cultivation even more," Lan Yingying said.
Lan Yingying nodded, "I want to fulfill my role and be useful to you. Also, it'll benefit me if you become a cultivator faster. I'll feel safer, too."
"If you insist, I'll accept your offer. Thank you, Yingying."
After breakfast, Yuan wasted no time and quickly returned to his living quarters to continue cultivating, as the privilege lasted until an hour after dinner.
The following day, Yuan chopped 10 bamboos instead of the usual 5 since he didn't chop any yesterday. Then, Lan Yingying used her 10 points to purchase a day of increased spiritual energy at Yuan's home.
Time passed in the blink of an eye, and another week had ended. This time, everyone had fulfilled their quotas.
Senior Zhou was pleased with the results and said, "This is good. Continue behaving and we won't have any problems. Unless someone misses their quotas or I have something to announce, we won't need to meet every week."
Senior Zhou dismissed everyone and quickly disappeared.
Afterward, everyone went to get breakfast. During breakfast, Yuan noticed that nearly everyone seemed to be discussing the same topic.

Seeing her pondering face, Yuan smiled and said, "You don't need to worry about me. You can use those points for yourself if you want."
"Huh? Oh, I wasn't thinking about that. While it does sound interesting, I am satisfied with my current progress. I have already memorized 15 pages, after all. I should fully memorize the cultivation technique within a month."
"15 pages already? You could barely memorize a page at the beginning."

"Duan Family from the Eighth Heaven? Sorry, never heard of them." Yuan shook his head.
His response caused the pair to frown, but they quickly fixed their expressions and said, "If you haven't heard of us, you can ask around. We're an elite and prestigious powerhouse in the Eighth Heaven."
"And what does your elite and prestigious family want from us?" Yuan asked.
"It's quite simple. Help us with this trial by giving us your points," said the young woman.
Yuan did not appear surprised at all by their request. In fact, he anticipated it.
"Sorry, but we've already spent our points."
"That's fine. You can just give us your future points."
"Unfortunately, we'll be using those, too."
The pair frowned at Yuan's clear defiance, and the young man spoke coldly, "Okay, I am done being nice. Listen here, you bastard. If you don't give us your points, I will make your life a living hell in here and once we return to the outside world."

After a brief silence, Yuan let out a sigh and raised his hands in a gesture of surrender. "Alright, you win. We'll give you our future points. Just don't hurt us."
Hearing this, the young man and woman exchanged smug glances, haughty smiles spreading across their faces as they reveled in their apparent victory.
