Walking through the massive entrance to the ancient colosseum, Xuan Hao found himself passing by several large statues along the way. All of them resembling what looked like human gladiators, though, given his current location, it was more likely that they were status of the giants that once lived in the ancient city.
With that in mind, he could to some extent confirm that the giants that had once lived inside the ancient city shouldn't have been that different from humans in terms of appearance. The only real difference between them and a human like himself being that they were larger… And almost certainly had a far stronger physique than a normal human.
Curiously examining all the status lined up next to the passage leading inside the area at the center of the colosseum without finding anything that stood out so to speak, Xuan Hao soon found himself standing in front of a large oak gate.
Even without having seen what was on the other side of the gate, it wasn't that difficult to guess, as he was almost certain that he would face whatever challenge the celestial trial had prepared for him the moment he pushed open the wooden gate.
"Hm? That is…"
And as if to confirm his thoughts, he found an all too familiar stone pedestal with what he instantly recognized as a scroll of trials, a scroll he had encountered during past celestial trials and understood contained information on the trial he was about to face.
"I wonder what this trial will be. Hopefully nothing too time consuming…" Muttering this to himself as he leaned down to pick up the scroll neatly placed on top of the stone pedestal; Xuan Hao wasted no time in reading through the scroll. Curious about what kind of trial awaited him on the other side of the gate.
"Trial of the Titan… Defeat the Titan of the Colosseum to pass the trial. Far simpler than expected…"
Feeling a slight smile creeping up the corner of his lips upon realizing that he would just have to defeat a guardian and didn't even have to search for the guardian at all, Xuan Hao didn't bother thinking too much about the fact that there was no other information in the scroll of trial outside of this.
Wasting no time as he used his domain to push open the massive wooden gate without any issues. Soon enough, being met with the massive empty space that was the arena that was on the other side.
However, the thing that caught Xuan Hao's attention wasn't the large open space on the other side of the wooden gate. Instead, it was the figure that towered more than a hundred meters into the sky standing on the other side of the arena.
From appearance alone, it was obvious that the titan he would have to defeat was this towering figure.
"I… This… How am I even supposed to defeat something like that!"
The problem with this was not the size of the opponent, but instead the strength radiating off the opponent's body.
Even from afar, it was clear that it had far surpassed anything he had encountered. Reaching the point where he doubted that he would be able to do any damage even if the other party stood still and allowed him to attack with everything he had.
What kind of perverted physique was this? Was this really a challenge designed for someone in the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm to complete? Where had his simple and easy challenge gone?
Not knowing what else to think, Xuan Hao could only stare helplessly as the towering figure took a step forward-

Causing the very earth to shake beneath his feet as he slowly approached him.

Suddenly freezing on the spot as he thought about this, Xuan Hao felt that this was a likely situation.
After all, he had only confirmed that there was a spatial passage for him to follow. Not that the spatial passage was the same one he had used. Not that he could even spot the differences between the spatial passages, as they all looked the same when viewed from the inside or outside.
Only way for him to tell the difference would be to use his comprehension of the Dao of Space to analyze them in detail, something he really didn't have time for, as he had been far more focused on escaping the spatial storm back then…

As his thoughts began wandering with different possibilities of what could have gone wrong and ended him up in his current situation, the titan stopped a few hundred meters away from him, though, with his size, he might as well have been standing directly in front of him.
However, before he had a chance to do anything, a booming voice echoed out from above, as the titan opened his mouth to speak.

"ANSWER! YOUR STRENGTH IS FAR FROM REACHING THE REALM OF GREAT POWER, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COME HERE!"
"I… I don't know, I entered the celestial gate normally but encountered a spatial storm along the way and barely managed to get back into the spatial passage again, but… From the looks of it, I got into the wrong spatial passage and ended up here…"
Feeling like he was being squeezed from all sides by an invisible pressure that seemed to completely ignore the presence of his dao domain, Xuan Hao understood that he had no way to resist the titan in front of him. For this reason alone, he didn't dare lie and answered truthfully. Hoping that this guardian would let him go, as it was clearly different from guardians he had encountered so far.

Knowing that the titan in front of him had likely discovered the current state of the celestial gate, Xuan Hao decided to remain silent as he watched the figure in front of him suddenly start manipulating the formations around the trial space- No, it wasn't just the trial space, it seemed like the titan in front of him had directly taken control of the formation that was keeping the entire celestial gate running.
To describe this feat as terrifying would be an understatement, as the power he felt from the titan at this moment far surpassed anything he had encountered before. Likely to belong to a realm beyond the Profound Immortal Realm.
Although… It didn't really help him feel any safer knowing just how terrifying the existence in front of him was.
All he could do was hope that the other party wouldn't end up directly killing…

Looking up just in time to see the ancient formation symbols that had swirled around him seconds earlier vanishing into thin air, like they had never been there in the first place.
"CHILD, I CONFIRMED THE ACCURACY OF YOUR WORDS! GIVEN THAT THE MIRAGE SECT ISN'T AROUND ANY LONGER, THE MAIN AUTHORITY OF THIS TRIAL IS GRANTED TO THIS LINGERING SPIRIT OF MINE.
I ALREADY HAVE A GENERAL GRASP OF YOUR STRENGTH AND PAST TRIALS FROM YOUR RECORD. CONSIDERING YOU SURVIVED A SPATIAL STORM GETTING HERE, I WILL NOTE DOWN THE CHALLENGE AS COMPLETE."
"This… Thank you so much senior!" Feeling a sense of relief washing over him upon hearing the words of the titan, Xuan Hao could only lower his head in thanks to the towering titan. Knowing that the danger had passed.
"NO NEED FOR THANKS, MY TRIAL WAS MAINLY ABOUT TESTING THE PHYSICAL BODY AND FOR YOU TO SURVIVE A SPATIAL STORM AT THE DAO DOMAIN LORD REALM, THAT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO PROVE THE STRENGTH OF YOUR PHYSICAL BODY! NOW, GO!"

Not even a second after the titan finished speaking, Xuan Hao suddenly felt an overwhelming force pulling him from behind… And by the time he opened his eyes, he was already standing back at the entrance to the broken-down celestial gate.
No more than ten minutes having passed since he stepped inside the celestial gate to take on the trial…
