Chapter 773: The Bloodkind Will Rule This World

Meng Anwen reached out and seized the man in a Shenxia military uniform.

He was a Shenxian soldier, or had been.

Now, something had stripped away his reason. Madness burned in his eyes as he turned his blade against his own nation.

A pair of fangs protruded from his mouth, and even when restrained by Meng Anwen, he snarled and snapped, trying to bite.

Ning Tairan’s expression darkened, “What happened to him?”

Meng Anwen inspected the man carefully and soon noticed two small puncture wounds on his neck.

Their size and spacing matched the fangs in his mouth perfectly.

“These look like bite marks.”

“He must have turned into this thing after being bitten.”

Ning Tairan scanned the battlefield and quickly spotted several others in Shenxia military uniforms.

Moving swiftly, he subdued them and found that each bore similar wounds.

Yet when Meng Anwen captured people from other factions, none showed similar marks.

After a brief assessment, Meng Anwen reached a conclusion: Shenxians who had been bitten were losing their minds, reduced to feral, mindless creatures.

As for people from other factions, their condition remained unexplained.

At the very least, Shenxians who had not been bitten would not fall into this madness.

Meng Anwen immediately issued an order: no one was to leave the formations or launch an attack.

Until the cause was clear, minimizing casualties took priority.

With the Eternal Great Wall standing, there would be no immediate danger.

Meng Anwen said, “Old Ning, take them to Old Shu. See if he can identify the cause, and if there’s a way to restore them.”

With a wave of his hand, he activated a teleportation formation and sent Ning Tairan away.

Without pause, Meng Anwen began teleporting between cities, assessing the situation.

Everywhere, the same scene repeated. Foreign factions had descended into madness.

Even some small nations, without many powerful class users, had joined the assault on the Shenxia Empire.

Though they seemed deranged, their purpose was clear: attack Shenxia.

Or rather, they treated each other as allies while viewing Shenxians as the enemy.

Meng Anwen’s expression grew grim. Using the Shenxia Tower, he constructed a massive formation and opened a channel to the Dragonkind World.

He returned to the Dragonkind World and quickly located Bai Yiyuan, and then teleported directly to him.

The Dragon World was in far worse shape. Without the Eternal Great Wall’s protection, enemies surged in from all directions.

Frenzied forces from various factions besieged the Shenxians, who had gathered and formed defensive legions.

Battles raged across the land. Shenxia forces were surrounded, suffering heavy losses.

Bai Yiyuan, Feng Xiu, Mo Xinghai, and several God-level experts had split up, racing between different fronts to provide support.

With a single punch, Bai Yiyuan unleashed roaring law.

A colossal phantom fist fell like a meteor, obliterating everything within a hundred-meter radius. Hundreds died instantly.

Killing intent boiled within him. In mere moments, thousands had already fallen by his hand.

Behind him stood a battered Shenxia unit of roughly a thousand people.

Without Bai Yiyuan’s intervention, they would have been overwhelmed and wiped out.

“Old Bai, what’s the situation?” Meng Anwen asked urgently.

Bai Yiyuan shook his head, “Not good. Our forces are too scattered, under attack everywhere.”

As he spoke, the Shenxia Tower radiated brilliant light, enveloping the surrounding area and drawing all nearby Shenxians into its interior.

Though not as spacious as the Trial Tower, it could still house tens of thousands with ease.

Meng Anwen’s thoughts raced as he formulated a plan, “We split up and search. Send me your coordinates when you find survivors.”

“Alright. How’s the empire?” Bai Yiyuan asked.

“The Eternal Great Wall is holding. The empire is safe for now.” Meng Anwen replied.

The Shenxia Tower activated a teleportation formation, whisking Meng Anwen away.

It was now a race against time. Before uncovering the mystery, they had to save as many lives as possible.

They split up. Bai Yiyuan searched for survivors, while Meng Anwen transported those he rescued to the outskirts of the Dragonkind emperor city.

The Dragonkind emperor city lay in ruins. Beyond it, twelve teleportation formations stood in formation, identical to those in the Human World, activating in regular rotations.

Normally guarded by Shenxia troops, the area had now become a battlefield.

Corpses blanketed the ground, mostly from other factions, with few Shenxia soldiers among them.

Nearly all had been decapitated.

One glance was enough for Meng Anwen to recognize Feng Xiu’s handiwork. Though hot-tempered, Feng Xiu was no fool.

He had prioritized securing the teleportation formations, ensuring a retreat route.

Meng Anwen released the people he had brought, gave brief instructions, and departed again.

He raced across the Dragonkind World, rescuing survivors and ferrying them back to the teleportation formations.

Bai Yiyuan, Feng Xiu, Mo Xinghai, and some God-level experts of the Shenxia Empire worked in full coordination with him.

Two days later, nearly 99% of the Shenxians in the Dragonkind World had been located and brought back.

As they regrouped, the battlefield shifted toward the teleportation formations.

It was as if the enemy could track the Shenxians, pursuing them relentlessly.

Yet with Feng Xiu and the others holding the line, an impenetrable defense was formed.

“Are the numbers in?” Bai Yiyuan called out, his body still radiating killing intent after cutting down over a thousand enemies.

Meng Anwen worked without pause, preparing the formations while tallying the count, “Ten million from Shenxia entered during the last rotation. Only eight million are returning.”

Bai Yiyuan’s fists tightened, “The losses are too great. What’s wrong with those bastards? They’ve all turned into beasts.”

Meng Anwen shook his head. He still hadn’t fully grasped the cause; only a vague suspicion lingered.

“You must have some idea.” Bai Yiyuan pressed, “Say it.”

Without stopping his work, Meng Anwen glanced at the sky, “I suspect it’s connected to the world beyond.”

Bai Yiyuan stiffened, “You’re sure?”

“More or less. Otherwise, this wouldn’t have happened so suddenly.”

A chill crept into Bai Yiyuan’s heart, quickly replaced by fury.

He clenched his fists, “Whoever dares plot against Shenxia, I’ll smash their head in.”

In the Human World, at what was once the capital of the Eagle Kingdom, a grand banquet was underway.

Powerhouses from various factions had gathered, such as the Eagle Kingdom, the Holy Overseer Church, the Western Lands, among others.

Over twenty God-level experts had assembled, their auras overwhelming.

Each bore a pair of sharp fangs, their eyes gleaming with cold, bloodthirsty light.

Yet they had not lost their reason. Clad uniformly in black robes and capes, they resembled a sinister cult.

At their head stood a level 94 God-level expert.

He announced, “The Lord has given the order. The second phase can begin.”

Excitement surged in everyone’s eyes.

“Truly?”

“Yes. Begin the second phase. Commence the feast of blood.”

“The feast of blood!”

“Let us revel! The Bloodkind will rise as the rulers of this world!”

“A toast to the Lord!”

“To the Lord!”

They raised their glasses high. Inside was not wine but blood—Shenxian blood.
