Chapter 766: With My Realm, Why Would I Envy You?

With the addition of the Bone Spear law art star, it fused with Bone Prison, Bone Fangs, and Bone Armor, forming a four-star law art system.

The four stars burned brilliantly, attracting and orbiting each other endlessly.

At their center, an indescribable substance began to take shape, imbued with dense law aura. This was the manifestation of the law of undeath.

Once the law manifested, the difficulty of comprehending it dropped by tens of thousands of times. Lin Moyu could now use it to rapidly perceive and master the law of undeath.

The birth of the four-star law art system sent violent tremors through the soul world.

In response, the brilliance of the four stars intensified further.

Lin Moyu immediately understood. His law arts had grown stronger yet again.

Where they once could only leave superficial wounds on level 96 high-tier God-level, they could now likely deal fatal damage.

After checking his soul force and confirming he still had some to spare, Lin Moyu wasted no time and headed straight for the skill space.

Antares awoke and saw the newly formed four-star law art system.

“Two multiple-star law art systems… and both exceeding three stars.”

“This world has gone mad. How can such a thing exist?”

“No wonder the greater world rune sought to suppress the brat. Without that restraint, who knows how powerful he would become?”

“A monster is still a monster. You simply can’t measure him by common sense.” Antares muttered, utterly at a loss for words at this point.

Watching Lin Moyu effortlessly transport skill star cores one after another, something that would push others to the brink after moving just one or two, felt utterly absurd.

Comparison was truly the thief of joy

Yet for Antares, this was a blessing. It allowed him to observe the tiny black dot again and again.

At his level, even the slightest improvement was extraordinarily difficult, often requiring tremendous cost, vast amounts of time, or a heaven-sent opportunity.

But now, Lin Moyu’s repeated star formations granted him exactly that—a heaven-sent opportunity. And not just once, but more than a dozen times.

For the first time, Antares felt that his long years of confinement had been worthwhile.

Who else could witness the tiny black dot so many times?

Even among their own kind, who would dare open their soul world to another without reservation?

No one. Not a single soul.

Back then, Lin Moyu had simply said: You are my friend.

And now, things had come to this.

Perhaps it was a kind of fate.

Thinking back on his life among the Dragons, Antares realized he had never truly had any friends.

None among his own kind—and yet, he had found one among the humans. A friend willing to open his soul world without hesitation.

Fate truly worked in mysterious ways.

Soon, another skill star core was pulled into the soul world.

“Ready?” Lin Moyu asked with a faint smile.

Antares flexed his claws, “What’s there to prepare? I’m always ready.”

The familiar scene unfolded once more.

As the law art star formed, the strange sensation washed over Lin Moyu’s body again.

“Another passive law art.”

“Which one is it this time?”

Only two passive skills remained: Status Immunity and Undeath Undead, both exceptionally useful.

In truth, all of Lin Moyu’s skills were useful, unlike most classes that inevitably carried one or two redundant skills.

The passive law art star stood apart, aloof and dignified, exuding a noble aura distinct from the others, much like Elemental Resistance and Physical Resistance.

At last, the star stabilized, and the law art’s information appeared.

[Undeath Undead (100% fusion rate)]: members of the undead army do not perish upon receiving a fatal blow. Instead, they are instantly reborn at their peak state and can continue fighting. Each undead unit can revive up to five times within five minutes. Cooldown: three minutes.]

The skill had changed, and so had the look in Lin Moyu’s eyes.

Its evolution into a law art brought a dramatic transformation.

Rebirth no longer returned the undead units to the summon space; they now resurrected on the spot, fully restored to peak condition.

The number of revivals had increased from two to five within five minutes, more than double the previous amount.

On top of that, the cooldown had been reduced from five minutes to three.

That said, since Lin Moyu typically used this skill alongside his talent, the shorter cooldown offered little practical advantage.

Even so, after becoming a law art, its practicality had increased significantly.

Lin Moyu felt he was nearly impossible to kill.

Unless he faced a True God, his survival was practically assured.

Even Transcendent God 9th tier would struggle immensely to finish him off.

It wasn’t that he was unkillable; it was that killing him would be an exhausting ordeal.

When Lin Moyu told Antares about the law art’s information, Antares showed no reaction.

He simply stared at him for a long moment before saying, “You must have the bloodline of the Turtlekind.”

Lin Moyu smiled, “You’re just jealous.”

“What realm do you think I am? Why would I envy you? Stop dreaming.” Antares scoffed, his face full of disdain.

Lin Moyu didn’t argue. He could see it in Antares’s eyes. Whether he admitted it or not, there was envy there.

Lin Moyu returned to the skill space. This time, his soul force was no longer as abundant.

He had already transported seven skill star cores, and each law art star consumed a portion of his soul force.

Not only did the transformation require a massive amount of soul force, but maintaining each law art star also consumed a great deal.

Only the surplus soul force could be used to transport skill star cores.

The feeling of overflowing soul force was gone, and the work was no longer effortless.

The skill space itself seemed to respond to this shift, almost as if mocking Lin Moyu.

As the number of remaining skill star cores decreased, the binding force on them grew stronger.

Extracting them became increasingly difficult.

Even so, the skill space couldn’t stop Lin Moyu.

Half a day later, he pulled out the eighth skill star core.

“This should be the last one.”

After assessing his remaining soul force, Lin Moyu knew he couldn’t continue.

Though he still had some soul force left, it wasn’t enough to move another skill star core.

He would have to wait until his next level-up.

Seven skill star cores remained in the skill space.

By his estimate, he could clear them out in two or three more levels.

At level 86 now, he might finish everything by level 88 if things went smoothly; otherwise, level 89.

Ideally, he wanted it done by level 88, since he still needed to deal with his talents.

The talent world would be the real challenge.

Lin Moyu had no idea how to extract his three talents.

Still, he wasn’t in a hurry.

He had a plan, but he refused to let impatience take hold.

Wrapped in soul force, the skill star core entered the soul world and began transforming into a law art.

There would be no accidents. With Antares watching over the process, everything was under control.

Antares observed the tiny black speck, while Lin Moyu focused on the star.

Once formed, the new law art star became part of the soul world, then surged forward, rushing toward its kind.
