Azarinth Healer Book One is out today :)

Gotta post 500 characters in this section of the post huh. So how's everyone been?

That's far fewer than 500 characters. I could copy the text from above again but eh, doesn't feel right.

So ye, kinda just. Here, are we? Bit awkward. Work been stressful? Oh you’re in school. Fair. Fair. Bio-engineering? Oh nice, so like nurgle or something? Zombie apocalypse haha. Oh no, it’s just a joke, a joke. It’s a reference to common story tropes, oh you don’t read, that’s aight. I think this is my floor. Nice meeting you.

Getting out of the elevator, I realize I’m on the wrong floor.

I sigh, checking my phone to see no connection. A roar makes me freeze up, scanning the office before me when a noise resounds inside of my head, letters appearing before me.

LOL. At least now we know author is a woman.

The vibe from the book hints at it. But here it's even stronger.

          The author is a man.

Actually, one of the biggest criticisms of this story in the English community is the opinion that he writes Ilea (women in general) badly. They say she reads more like a man

Honestly, in my opinion, the story has so many problems that female characters resembling men is the last issue. Among everything else, not like I even noticed.

That seems harsh for 1. A story you’ve read 900 chapters of - decently long ones too, 2. A story that’s definitely in the upper levels of the webnovel genre, let alone the slop we are often served. 3. The community you’re currently a part of, known for their low standards.

                1. Because of those 'low standards', not everything I read is enjoyable. It was 'maybe author will make it into something good' in the beginning and went to 'well, looks like it didn't happen'. Most storylines that started well finished with a puff or just didn't finish. It's also MC crazy powerscaling that made other characters irrelevant even in the final battle. Even Meadow is something akin to a tool and others just look like cheerleaders.

Good enough to read, not good enough (or too boring) to enjoy.
Even others novels with 3.9 rating are like that because of some screw up in the middle, not because it got boring in the end.
Imao, author really has to work on properly finishing storylines and on using his characters.
If you have 1 character that matters, should pay more attention to her, less to others.
If you want more characters, make them relevant. She's a healer, so it wouldn't be hard to make a strong 5 people party to level up together and face difficulties.
Instead we just have overpowered MC who does everything and a bunch of characters she knows who are just... There?
