I left the estate and appeared outside. The next second, a huge fireball came at me.
Boom!
I touched the fireball with my bare hands. The next second, the fireball exploded, and the heat spread in all directions.
Argh!
Loud screams were heard as the people standing closer to me were swept by the flames. When the aftermath settled, they saw I was perfectly alright.
Gasp!
A loud gasp sounded. No one would have expected I would be fine. There were other family heads as well. I didn’t want to bloodbath the place.
I had already killed the traitors.
"Today, I have wiped out the core members and spared the innocents. City Lord William and the other two family heads knew the truth and concealed it. They died as well."
"I hope the rest of you were not involved in the betrayal," I said to them.
A huge uproar occurred. It was not only officials from the City Lord’s office who were here; there were other family heads and their warriors as well.
They had heard of the name Zack Lockwood. They didn’t expect to see the person in real life. They were shocked. But not all of them believed it.
There were people here sent by the Earth Element Faction Leader.
"Humph, I don’t believe your words," an old man said while charging forward to attack. He was the one who used the fireball earlier.
My eyes flickered. I saw the old man was hiding his killing intent. Clearly, he came to kill me. Then my gaze caught a few other killing intents hidden among the crowd.
I let the old man come toward me.
"Flame Punch!"
The old man punched forward, his right fist covered in flames. In a flash, the punch reached my face.
I raised my left hand and blocked the punch.
Boom!
The flame was extinguished and the old man was rooted to the spot. His eyes widened in disbelief. He was shocked to the core.
Seeing that, I smirked. I slammed my right fist right into his chest.
Boom!
The old man’s chest caved in. His chest bones broke. His internal organs were ruptured and bleeding. Like a broken kite, he flew backward before crashing into the ground.
This happened fast. It was a simple punch, yet the old man was sent flying away.
The other family heads and warriors were shocked. The old man was a genuine Purple Mark Warrior.
They had heard of Zack Lockwood before-the rising star of Star University. Now they had seen it for themselves.
"Is there anyone else coming?" I asked.
My gaze swept across and paused on the people who had shown killing intent earlier. Those people were now taking retreating steps.
They were clearly afraid right now. Seeing that no one was stepping forward, I left the place and flew toward the city gate.
It didn’t take long for me to reach the gate. I didn’t wait for the guards to inspect me; I left the place. The guards were stunned. They were about to chase, then they saw the strength of the person was stronger than they thought.
A few seconds later, a few more figures left the city gate in the same manner. They were going after the same person.
On the other hand, I left the city and reached an open land. My perception had already caught the people chasing after me.
I circulated the purple lightning force along with the shock force. The two forces circulated inside my body. In the blink of an eye, the forces reached my right hand.
I gathered the purple lightning power at the index finger tip. The lightning ball that formed held the power of the shock force as well. It was condensed into a small size.
Swoosh!
Six figures appeared before me. They were all Purple Mark Warriors.
"Lightning Condensed Finger!"
I pointed my index finger at them one by one. A purple lightning beam released from the finger.
The air split open. The beam went in a straight line, hitting the warriors one by one.
Argh!
Screams were heard one after another. The purple lightning scorched them and roasted their internal organs alive. All six of them were left charred by the single beam.
All six of their bodies dropped dead to the ground.
Swoosh!
Then I left the place without turning back. I’m going back to Star University right now. On the way, I have to stop by a few cities.

Meanwhile, Dean Jerome got the news in his office as well. He read the news, his mouth curving into an arc. He knew Zack Lockwood would survive.
But what he didn’t expect was the strength described. Zack Lockwood had the ability to fight across ranks, but he didn’t know Zack Lockwood could kill the enemy in one move.
