Chapter 1442: Part 1: Warrior Camp 4 |
Warrior Camp 5
After convincing everyone, I entered the tent. I put my heart at ease. Fortunately, I had thought of a solution; otherwise, it would have been hard to convince them.
Then I went to the sofa and lay down. I forgot about everything and slept.
...
Outside,
Supervisor Kenny came back to his room and phoned Dean Jerome. The call was connected. Dean Jerome was expecting his call; he answered the call the next second.
"Dean, you won’t believe it. Thanks to you, the kid survived yet another battle and encirclement by the foreign creatures," Kenny said with a smile.
"What happened?" Dean Jerome asked. He was glad that Zack Lockwood had survived the battle.
Later, one of the foreign creatures used a suspicious item to create a barrier. The signal was cut off. He didn’t know what happened inside the domain.
Then he told how Zack Lockwood fought for a long time before breaking the barrier and walking out. All the foreign creatures were dead.
He then shared Zack Lockwood’s statement.
"Dean, he used a life-saving item to kill all those foreign creatures," Kenny said.
Jerome was silent. He knew Zack Lockwood had a life-saving item with him, but he thought the kid had used his Inheritance force to wipe out the foreign creatures instead.
He was thinking about the bloodline power.
Jerome made a decision. He thought Zack Lockwood had done his best in the camp. It was time for him to shift to another camp.
"Kenny, send him to Camp 4. The foreign creatures’ side will be caught off guard," he said.
"Okay, Dean," Kenny replied.
But he was happy inside. He could hardly wait to jump and shout out loud.
Dean Jerome was going to make arrangements for the next warrior camp. He told him to send Zack Lockwood to Warrior Camp 4 the next morning.
Then he ended the call. Jerome then spoke to the supervisor of Camp 4.
...
The following day,
I woke up early. After completing the morning routine, I entered the essence chamber. I began my practice.
I started with the Purple Lightning method. When I began the practice, the purple bolt rune in my mind flickered.
A hint of seriousness appeared in my eyes. To be honest, the purple lightning was my strongest trump card, yet the consumption was heavy.
I had killed the foreign creatures using a small amount of bloodline force. I knew a small purple lightning bolt was enough to harm the foreign creatures.
I should master my control over the lightning power. I should not recklessly use the lightning force.
I pushed back these thoughts and focused on the practice. The lightning force from world energy entered my body.
I guided the force according to the route. The force flowed through the body route before entering the dantian. It settled down near the purple lightning seed.
Seeing that, I continued to repeat the process.
2 hours later,
I walked out of the practice room. Then I went to the bathroom to take a shower.
20 minutes later,
I walked out and changed into my camp uniform. Today, I was going to use a small amount of lightning force to eliminate the foreign creatures.
The weakness of the foreign creature was its head. As long as the head part was hit hard, the foreign creature would die.
Then I went to the sofa and lay down. I was going to wait for the battle alarm to sound. I didn’t know what the foreign creatures had planned this time.
Knock!
Not long after, I heard the sound of knocking at the door. Hearing that, I opened my eyes. I got up from the sofa and went to the door. I didn’t know who had come to cause a problem.
Creak!
I opened the door and saw Supervisor Kenny outside. I was taken aback.
"Senior, what happened?" I asked.
"Zack, pack your things. You are going to Camp 4. It was an order from Dean Jerome. We don’t have time," he said.
Hearing that, my eyes flashed with a glint. I nodded to him before going back to pack my things. There weren’t many things in my possession. I put everything inside the storage ring.
Then I came outside and gave back the key to him.
Kenny accepted the key and grabbed Zack Lockwood’s shoulder. The next second, they disappeared from the spot. They reappeared in front of the teleportation platform.
Kenny took a breath and said, "I’m thankful that you were able to slay the foreign creatures and the planted spies. Because of you, the camp was saved."
"You have saved my head as well," he added.
Hearing that, I said, "I did my job, nothing more."
"Good, but I want to remind you about Camp 4. The warriors there are more arrogant. You will find more direct disciples of the elders and faction leaders."
"Here, you didn’t have the opportunity to come across them. But be careful in Camp 4. There could be more planted spies," Kenny said.
"Senior, I will be careful. Thank you for your support," I said to him.
"Okay, I will activate the platform now. There will be someone waiting on the other side. Be vigilant," Kenny said.
Then he activated the platform. The platform was activated. I nodded to him before stepping inside.
A few seconds later,
I disappeared from the spot. Before I could think further, my feet touched the ground.
I walked out from the barrier and was greeted by dense, rich world energy. I breathed in and felt good all over my body. This place was no worse than the campus.
"You are here!"
The next second, I heard a female voice. I turned around and saw a brown-haired, middle-aged woman. Her presence was powerful and threatening.
"Purple Mark Warrior," I thought.
"Supervisor," I uttered.
The woman smiled and said, "You are sharp. I’m the Supervisor of Warrior Camp 4, Melody.
I’m also from the Monster Bloodline Faction. I hold the position of special elder there as well," she introduced herself.
My heart was stirred. It was the first time a Supervisor had come to greet me.
