    Good and very detailed novel. Great Charakter Design and development.

    Dropped because it became too longwinded for me. (10+ Long chapters for a single Scene is just too slow a Story development for me, but the Charakters have incredible depth and personalaty)

    Everything is very long. However, I’ve found it to be a good substitute for when I am saving up chaps of others. But yes, I am reminded of that novel with Bai Zemin when i look at the progression/pacing. It sets itself up for the long run. Also includes many day to day occurences. The dream arc w/ Minor is prob my leash fav though. I dropped the novel for a while due to it. The punishment arc…is long. what you have there is about 5 mini missions ( Envy was faster ) packed with Kamiko intermissions.

    With novels and music, one of my criteria is the ease to enjoy. If a good song or novel is like swimming in water, this book is closer to syrup. It is drawn out. If you cannot deal with that, make that compromise, you may find yourself dropping this.

    That being said, one other criteria I judge by is profoundness. If the emotions are properly conveyed I love it. If I cry, the book is gold. This book chooses to convey its realism, with more logical comments, interesting analogies, neat settings. Also some fun (wtf why cultivators so dumb) type comments. In that sense, it conveys what it wants.

    The pacing is the worst part of this novel it’s horrible dragging out everything no matter how pointless an relevant. There was an arc where the Mc spent over a hundred chapters in someone’s mind.

    I was honestly happy when I saw how much chapters it had before I started reading, then came the sad realization of the pacing issues. I was binging 600+ chapters and it was still annoying to get through at points.

    I tried my best to read this shit. But now she literally meets a stranger and shows her tail. Hasn’t been 14 chapters, yet her secrets been out to her best friend, little girl( because she was looking at her with puppy eyes and she couldn’t lie) and a stranger. Even the mc in vampire system is better than this stupid female mc.

      and after the massive chapter drop at Christmas its been a while, a new chapter will be released in 12 days as the unprivileged chapters are at 604 but there are 628 out but behind the privileged wall

        it is not like that this is about a human who awakens there ancient demon blood line and has to complete summoned contracts or face punishment and it is nowhere near as empathy less as customs made demon king

    It could have been nice. Alas ... too cloying and a lot of nonsense. The heroines speak almost the same way, even in another world. And too much scuffling and politeness. Where one could say:
    "Why did you come, it's dangerous, I don't want you to get hurt!"
    "You are my daughter now. I'm worried. Be nice and let your mom solve all the problems."
    "Well ... OK? Thanks."
    and then show a warm relationship through "actions" - hugs and so on. So, in places where ten sentences were enough, you will read 4 f#cking chapters! And they will have something like this:
    "Why did you come. It's dangerous."
    "At first I did not want to come, because I respect your personal space and opinion and desire for self-realization. I was torn between respect and concern for a long time and still decided to go here. You could be in danger."
    "But I'm much more dangerous ... EVERYTHING around"
    "I have to take care of you"
    "I can take care of myself."
    "But you shouldn't, because now we are together."
    ...blah blah blah...
    "That's why, despite my deep respect for you and your decisions and willingness to accept your need for personal space and decisions, I could not ignore what happened."
    "Okay. Thank you. You know, it means a lot to me. And your support really isn't superfluous."
    In short, this is a very bad example of "respect for freedoms." Understand that in the example above I exaggerated, but the situation is really like that. It could be good ... Unfortunately, the skills of the author are very far from creating a good story. Reviewed at the time of reading 55 chapters.
