Well, so that’s how it ends, huh… I wasn’t really convinced by how the whole system issue was resolved, nor by how the author seemingly forgot to use certain system functions after introducing them, like the full-body weight increase feature and the shop that allowed him to buy any skill he wanted. Still, the story was really good, and in the end it felt like he didn’t actually need those elements that much.

I also feel like the story could’ve carried a lot more emotional weight, especially during moments like Camilla’s miscarriage and his grandmother’s death. I guess the author just didn’t take things in that direction. The only moment that truly hit me emotionally was his speech after winning his first Ballon d’Or.

Well, I guess that’s it for Zachary’s story and how he became the true 🐐 of football. Winning 14 Ballon d’Ors is absolutely insane. I’ll leave my review on the main page in a bit.

It was another great read. The ending felt both abrupt and long-anticipated, like something you knew was coming all along. There wasn’t much left to write about once he had already reached his peak, but props to the author for delivering over 700 chapters of football matches without making them feel overly repetitive. I also appreciate how this novel introduced me to the world of football, which I was completely unfamiliar with. Thank you so much author.

This book was amazing to read. There were times when I doubted it would ever reach the finish line but here we are. What a journey!

The ending was pretty rushed but it was becoming obvious the author had lost the spark and passion he had at the start of this novel. However, I thoroughly believe that a rushed ending is better than no ending.

There was so much promise here; I just wish the Liverpool arc held onto that magic.
