The following, is a summary of almost all the major arc and story beats from chapter 1-3150, it is extremely long:

[spoiler]It starts of as a fairly straightforward cultivation story mc village boy with relatively high comprehension and earth affinity (little to no cultivation experience).

Finds a ring that gives I’m an op space affinity and an auxiliary cultivation technique that has nine paths of cultivation (Buddha, sword, demon, beast, devil, nature….) with is op as well.

He then stumbles through cultivation for a 100 odd chapter and meets a hidden expert and granddaughter who gives him a sword. The ring later open a tear through space then leds him to meet his master another op character that’s is a walking encyclopedia in the shape of a spider.

The story progresses he gets a bloodline of bear cultivates get schemes against creates an alliance and the fight the bbg gets catapulted out of the world into the higher realm

(some time before this (100 chapter) he gets a cat (also op) and later (chapter 700) gets a snake egg)

Once in the immortal realm he helps a clan of human sea horse reclaim their clan inheritance while stuck on a prison island, leaves the island. Go to sea horsy clan grounds find out they are extremely rich, leave clan grounds.

On the way to specific empire to cultivate body techniques he discovered by a celestial specifically a women (I think she’s the main love interest) the snake egg he had hatched to twin serpent of yin and yang which should not have happen until some other this should have take place but he injected them with beast qi from one of the techniques the ring gave him.

Celestial has a seal cultivation and is under cover since she came to the world without permission, decides to travel with mc to make sure the snakes are save.

Reached empire that has body cultivation resources, cultivates his body with bull marrow,. Enters a large ancient battlefield field filled with treasure. Steals an op tree while disguised as a demon.

The ring treasure makes him hunt some guy down for another part of the ring that gives him an auxiliary body cultivation technique finds out there are other parts to the ring.

Then fights a tournament gets involved in a scheme fights wins the tournaments (stuff happen in this time) enemies escape.

Cultivation retreats (soul defense) find a girl with a rare celestial physique calls on the celestial that is traveling with him who calls on another celestial who wants a disciple, girl leaves with the new celestial.

Travels with a party to a celestial inheritance fights puppets then chimeras, find a seal that is op (mc also cultivates formations). Op seal was most likely created by Lin wu from author other novel the rise of the worm sovereignty the chimeras are also from Lin wu created by his clone/avatar.

Side note Lin wu is categorically evil and he comes from some parallel earth.

Fights enemies from the tournament uses devil mode (which is a split personality that is Evil said in the most pretentious way possible) get injured sleeps for 25 years, body cultivation goes down.

While asleep he goes to the astral plane and she two people a women who sends him to a man with all the daos. His spider master xukong tells him that he entered the astral plane and the man showed him an illusion since it not possible to cultivate that many daos.

Find out larger scheme fights same enemy again 2x wins and devours her soul.

Leaves this realm to Buddhist realm travels to two other planet in between with a monk and daoist + all the beast he tames.

Planet one nondescript cultivation world find a disciple for himself, fights a clan young master, finds out young master’s sect is corrupted with evil techniques destroys the sect.

Random girl likes him, holds a banquet to see him, then uses diviner technique to she karma/fate almost dies does it again then goes mad and runs to her master who is a celestial.

He leaves that planet to a world with a religious cult, I think the author doesn’t like Christianity , really any major organized religion (you can tell by the way he writes the believers, they’re all assholes), he destroys a major part of the church then the immortal court comes to free the rest of the world. (But the religion still not entirely destroyed)

- around this point the author starts using ai, it gets really bad

Finally he land on the Buddhist world, he comes to this world to find the rest of a body cultivation technique he’s been practicing since his time the mortal world.

He goes with the monk to the his main temple which is one major powers in the world, he cultivates the Buddhist part of the op script from the ring to level four and become a Buddha path bear and is given a staff/scepter.

He then goes to a lotus who completes the soul defense technique he’s been practicing since after the tournament, and awakens the 6 sutra the nature path. Holy hell does the ai poetry become bad, It so pretentious.

Then he finally goes to the monks who practice the body cultivation technique, he find out they opened up a black hole he saves them and creates a new technique based of there technique since the one he’s looking for is gone.

He goes to a sword sect beats a bunch of records and does some trials.

(This where I stopped, the ai stuff got so out of hand that it’s painful to read, all the em dashes and pretentious descriptions. The ai is trying to so profound and descriptive but it really does not know to how to be and it not subtle at all) [/spoiler]

My problems with novel:

[spoiler] From the way the summary is written you can most likely tell I don’t really like the novel, then why did I read 3000+ chapters of a novel I don’t like. That’s because it not that bad it has its problems but up until the author started using ChatGPT it wasn’t all the bad just a way to waste time while being entertained. Sort of like some show you watch to pass the time.

At a certain point I was hate reading especially the tournament arc and the cult world arc.

The premise is not bad the world building is the best part, it actually has some substance.

Some of my problems is the pacing and the main character. The pacing is absolutely atrocious this should not be 3000 chapters at most 1500 to 2000, so many chapters are filler or lore dumps while sometimes interesting most of the time are meaningless.

As for the main character he is extremely bland, his motivation is to help others but he barely does this unless it’s a world ending threat. In the lower world he was doing to some extent with his alliance but once he go to the immortal world he takes up minimal responsibility. Also the main character is very young compared to other characters they in their thousands to millions (love interest is millions) and his like 80 by chapter 3100. [/spoiler]

I’m still a bit miffed the author didn’t go the path of the four heavenly treasures the elemental system is literally build to work with it.

Five mortal elements:
Fire - Water - Earth - Metal - Wood

Four heavenly elements:
Wind - lightning - Yang - Yin

For example:
Wind - Lung
Lightning - brain
Yang - the whole body
Yin - the soul/spirt/mind

The author does something similar with wind and lightning but that is auxiliary technique for body cultivation, not a full fledge technique.

Three smth elements
Space - Time - Chaos
(If you have chaos wouldn’t Order be the counter part or maybe fate)

There’s also a Mana systems, demon system and devil system but all roads lead to qi cultivation because of lifespans advantages.
