So it followed the broad strokes of astral pet store, but it became its own thing, before following the plot progression of astral pet store again, lol.

In any case, what's glaring is his unwillingness to use his store assistants that are powerful. I understand the one time where to make absolutely sure that his family was safe, in exchange for his dignity, he didn't immediately use them, but now he is fighting upper realms and shit and he keep saying to himself "there's really no master in my shop" wtf? There are 3 masters in your shop right now that can blast higher tier planets away.

Shit doesn't make sense. I know the author just wants tension, but again, to the extent that it's implemented? It makes no sense and just causes frustration and comes off as idiotic.

I'm now at chapter 196, so this is just a bog standard OP MC type with a bit of emphasis on comedy, at least at the start. Like most other novels, it kinda starts following a template. It's kinda better than your "average" xianxia but that's only because the average xianxia sucks.

So this follows a lot of beats with Astral Pet Store but it's not really a clone. I think it follows more at the start as the author probably did it on purpose but slowly veered away from the story of APT, that being said, a lot of the "mechanics" are still similar. The tone is different tho, as I've mentioned, this veers towards the comedic more than the "cool".

So yeah, as I've mentioned before, it stands on its own merits despite the fact that it's similar to APT, or in this case, it's not bad because it's almost a clone, but it's bad because it just is. 😅

It's pretty mediocre, bog-standard OP MC, where a lot of idiocy abounds and you have to turn your brain off in order to accept the things that are happening. Well let's all admit that most of us here have garbage taste and when we're looking for that mid-tier garbage that's not too garbage and not racist/overly nationalistic, then this one should hit that spot.

It's garbage to the point of almost fermentation, it's like food that's almost bad but you eat it because you won't die from it and you can't be bothered with life anymore. It stops the hunger (but at what cost???) and it doesn't impede you from living.

TL;DR: won't kill you tho it might harm SOME brain cells.

its worst for listeners on a tts app, since the grammar/sentence structure/ vocabulary is so bad it ends up sounding like someobes reading an intensely complicated crossword scrabble with thick exotic accent.

honestly it started somewhat alright but it becomes dumber and dumber like you have too mush power at hand but keeps acting like he wants to hide it even if he's or his family humiliated.like someone kidnaps your family and your thinking if he should expose his cards then his family is cursed in front of him and his like please stop (that's not what happened but his action were the same) i personally hate this kind of mc so if you can tolerate this i think you can try it

im droppong it (chap 170).. the fact that he can go to cultivation realm and get stronger since he has a god tier cultivation technique but he didn't do it.. he rather waste hes time to be involved in those family and politics..

he can train hes beast with progenitor bloodline as well create and tame beast lineup with top tier bloodline so he won't have to worry about the human politics but he didn't.. so im dropping it, bad copy of astral pet store

There is no real interaction between the characters and it feels like a poorly written list than a book.
