    If this guy doesn't turn out to be a god or something, then this is gonna be a major flop.

    compared to all other powers, his powers have huge range, affect all people, dumb them down, have them listen to him, work while he's asleep, and that's all just a single power. And there don't seem to be any flaws! MC's powers only work in certain circumstances, requires very specific handling. Even monk's hunger ability could be countered and even if not, they could escape it in seconds after they're done eating. But this guy is seemingly omnipotent

    even cap didn't notice him approach when they met him, even though she's supposed to have sensed him way before he came into any reasonable range for his abilities to work.

    and when Shang managed to recover I the jeep, instead of shooting the guy through the seat, he decides to strangle him? rofl

    I feel like this is gonna ruin the book for me if not properly explained

      we cant really make up any assumptions yet since we dont know what his abilities are what are the limitations and i dont think it has a very large range cause it only happened when he approached their car close
