    Of course the monkey was just unconscious. That's how merciless hunters like they are, work. Why on earth would they ever kill their prey? Sigh.

    And of course, after using a ton of blood failing to manifest, vomiting blood, chasing to cut the two off, fighting and killing the 3rd stage, being low on blood and completely fatigued, he just.. shrugs it off and runs on for hours and hours chasing this guy, and after everything, neither he nor the monkey has a single serious injury.
