God of Fishing垂钓之神

Sigh I stopped around ch100, im tired of this type of MC.

dang this author is really lazy and untalented. basically the entire story loop is

mc is weak and poor
system spoon feeds mc opportunities
mc goes on a face slapping spree
repeat repeat repeat

Its a decent novel but youbwould need to endure a lot of poison in the initial chapters to get there. The mcs behavior is unbearable in the initial say 100-200 chapters.

In one scene, there are two "bigshots" who are trying to dominate each other by trying to get the ownership of some rare fish. Mc is a bystander watching all of this. He randomly for no reason blurts out, why not divide it in half?
Now we have an arrogant young master out to get mcs ass for no reason at all for the next 50-60 chapters.

Effing dumb.

But it gets pretty good later when mc becomes stronger and no longer behaves like a child. It looks like the author found a proper direction and held on till the end of the novel.

i feel like this is so underrated or something, i guess the title make it a bit misleading at first glance. But i remember this as a really breath of fresh air and the feel of adventure in a mostly water world was really memorable and fun. I feel like i haven't experience something similar for a long time now

I love cultivation novels, no matter how bad they are. In this book, the sea, fishing, and a new fighting style attracted my attention (at least at first). But the translation is incredibly bad.
When I compare it to the original MTL, sections are missing. Compared to the original pages, this is a summary made for quick reading. Episode 15-16 is a great example of how poorly done it is.

If it was a short novel, I might have ignored it. But we are talking about 3700 episodes.

I feel like the mc became an idiot, specifically in the sense that he started blaming everyone else for his failures. For example he got "stuck" in a dungeon but he blamed the girl that invited him in. . . but it's a dungeon and they don't exactly have a good working relationship and they didn't even have a solid deal, just "help each other" so he blames he and even says "scammed him" despite the fact that it's exactly what you should expect from that type of deal and despite this the girl even helped him out.

Completed at 2920, but translated to 3365 i only realized its one of those cutting chapters again.
