          I just checked World of warlock again! And it's doesn't even compare to this, the dialogue is rigid, the characters are lame and the writing is mid.

          If you can't get past your prejudice that's fine! But don't come here and start slandering a work you didn't read

          Moreover! This came about before WOMW

          In fact you can directly see that WOMW was inspired by this book to varying extents

          What forced romance? Did you freaking read with your eyes closed? Or did your brain automatically translate it to a brainrot cultivation novel?

    Try it out, it is a high quality novel with lots of gore/darkness and a detailed world. I think many people will enjoy this, even if the popularity and rating is low. The comparison to RI is ridiculous, the story theme is a lot more emotionally driven and for a different audience. I dropped it after 150 + ch because none of the characters are what I like and it feels extremely childish.

    There are a lot of dangers, fights and lucky situations or small things that work out for the MC, but no completely OP flow or power ups. I think it's meant to be more of a "smart" MC. He loves to lure enemies into traps.

    Dont be fooled by the low rating. It's bcs when it ended ppl thought author dropped. It wasn't as famous as RI, so nobody would have known.
    I came to this page many times hoping for it to get started, now that it started, i read it.
    It's so good honestly, i wont say much, you can find Void Progenitor's review below.
    I'll disagree that it's as good as RI. Reason- Not have plot twists, seeing some plot holes, some times antagonists make dumb mistakes whixh they shouldn't acc to their personality, most importantly there's the strategy to get something isn't as good as RI

    In early phase of the novel you will get how the world is. It's unlike other novel, where MC somehow starts his journey at w corner of world, dont even know power levele more than 3, then jump into another world same repeats.
    This novel different, you know whats there, that's why you will feel like power level is less.
    Overall it's good, you should try this one.

      Bro, all the points you made to say this isn't as good as RI are completely subjective, it's like saying LOTM is better than RI because it's power system is more balanced or something?

      This has little to do with the works quality bit rather the settings and premise of the story.

      It's emphasized multiple times the power systems works and why elementum Adepts need to do research, it's just a preference of whether or not your find it satisfactory, not a scale to use for measuring.

      Everything else is pretty simple, because unlike RI, fighting above ranks if nearly impossible here and also, schemes and plots aren't as prevalent because in the end, all Adepts fundamentally do not trust one another, RI still brotherhood, regional inclusivity and so on, here, you either have power or you don't.

      Moreover, fortuitous encounters -basic level- can take a hundred years to be fully digested, so basically it's a different in premise.

      But by whatever objective standard you use to appraise this book, it's definitely on the level as RI and LOTM.

      It's a question of whether than stomach the way of writing because it can be long-winded at times

        Hello fellow reader who likes this book as much I do.
        The comparison isn't bcs i just wanted, it's on basis of another review.
        This book is really good, clearly my top 5. And I bragg about this book in different sites too.
        Sadly I never read LOTM, was planning this year. But anime came.
        Sad thing is people find WOMW better than this novel, and a new novel named Sovereign of Ashes came. It got good rating in this site.
        That book is totally copied from AOA. Unfortunate for AOA author for not getting his deserved recognition

        Here also I wanna suggest some underrated and underdog novels.
        If you want some unusual book with superior schemes and twists, please read I'll surpass the MC.

    Now i understand the low rating of this novel given how good it is up until the very last chap....its dropped with an instant ending in the very last chap and then restarted as "the wizarding age" - MTL i guess.. due to publishers? problem

    Personally, I’d recommend sticking with the MTL, especially if, like me, you’re not used to the term 'adapt.' For some reason, even after reading several chapters, the word 'adapt'—which replaces 'wizard' in this version—kept bothering me.

    That said, this is definitely one of the better wizard-themed web novels out there. I saw someone compare it to Warlock of the Magus World, and as someone who's read plenty of web novels in this genre, I can confidently say both are on par with each other. Ultimately, it all comes down to personal preference.

          Just right after he becomes a magus and is forced on the run, like it's not so much that WOTMW plot isn't there.

          But the stories execution is one of the horrible I have ever read.

          How anyone can read it let alone rate it highly only speaks volumes of how much garbage and trash novels they must be accustomed to reading.

          Events forced, unnecessary ruthlessness, unbelievably jarring dialogue.

          But anyways. I don't about of y'all, but I never compromised myself to reading slop.

          In that regard, age of adepts absolutely floors Warlock of the Magus World

          You would only the opposite if

          1) WOTMW is one the novels you started your reading journey with

          2) Your accustomed to reading slop and cheap action

      also from what i gathered there are 1660+ chapters on raws and mtl on wtr ended 1588. not sure if its the same. Apparently it didnt end yet and went hiatus last october, hopefully he just took a break.

    Yoooo! On behalf of all veterans and novices, I humbly advise that you read this piece of art!

    If nothing else, the author is just fantastic! I don't know why this book isn't more popular!

    Aside from the ending, the quality of this work is not less than Reverend Insanity and I stand by that!

    In fact, I dare say the quality in terms of world building beats both Reverend Insanity and LOTM!

    Yes, that's what I said!

    The world building and mechanics are insanely well made, to the point where the only complaint I have is that the author FREAKING over prepared!

    Like the world is so freaking big and the forces are so huge that it can overwhelm you!

    It's overall geography at least twice as big, expansive and more detailed that LOTM! And if not for the abrupt stop, it would probably be much more expansive!

    I'm telling you right now, this book beats back Warlock of the Magus World by a MILE and it's not even close!

    The two are in completely different tiers, with this book coming out on top in almost every single category!

    The only issue you might have would be character likeness, because they are all unique!

    And also, certain things are repeated many times, but it's probably because of the length and for readers with less intelligence

    Again, I advise anyone that's looking and scavenging for a new read to dive into this absolutely fantastic world!

    There's no doubt in my mind, this book is among the top five of all Web/Lightnovels and that's without it reaching completion!

    Ratings:: 9/10! Absolute Masterpiece!

    For fans of The Mech Touch who have grown tired of it, this is for you!

    Fans of The Legendary Mechanic who are looking to explore more stars! This is for you!

    Newbies and Veterans looking to widen their horizons and witness top tier world building, this is for you!

    Disappointment, MC is so fcking weak.. Author keep making mc get trampled again and again, so frustating. And MC with his fcking AI chip was so stupid and keep courting death again and again. Damn it, fcking stupid MC.

    And the author keep dragging everything, too much fighting without any growth for MC. Yes all the fighting MC done is not for his power upgrade, it just either for fcking forced plot or for his harem etc, it's meaningless for his power. And everytime MC went fight because of forced plot or because to help his harem, it get dragged so long(mc keep getting trampled). But when it comes to his fight solely for his own gain, it get very short and just get skipped over. In the WotMW at least most of leylin fight is his choice and for the sake upgrading his power while also abusing his cheat Chip. But this novel? Might as well forget he had this chip.

    And the result is? 750+++ chapter and MC still 2nd grade but every fight that comes involved 4th grade or higher, but mc can't do anything without help for another stronger. Basically MC just side character in hundred chapter dragged fighting arc.

    And there are still fcking 9th grade existences that keep mentioned in the novel. No wonder so many people get pissed off by this novel. because wtf?
