    I await Fang Zhengs betrayal.
Also, isn’t Fixed Immortal Travel supposed to only be able to transport Gu Immortals of the same rank as itself? Fang Yuan is rank 8 but Fixed Immortal Travel is only rank 7, right?

This chapter is most emotional chapter in this novel so far in my opinion. Everyone seems to hate Fang Zheng in the comments but honestly I never disliked him. At the beginning I thought he was annoying but as time passed I grew to like his character. Almost his whole life he has just been known as Fang Yuan's brother and nothing more. He has also been a pawn his whole life. First by his aunt and uncle, then by Immortal Crane Sect, then by Fang Yuan and now by Heavenly Court. Not only has he been used his whole life but everyone he thought cared about him is gone. His whole clan died, his master abandoned him, and Fang Yuan's fake will was just manipulating him. Now after growing up he has realized the mistakes of his youth, but it is too late, and he is now left all alone. It seems he might feel some regret:
In contrast, the more he learned, the more sadness he felt in his heart.

“It turns out, I have never truly understood you… Fang Yuan.”

I really hope that he ends up helping Fang Yuan somehow, but I highly doubt that will happen. Honestly, Fang Zheng is probably my favorite character in the whole novel so far other than Fang Yuan. I love this novel because of the way that it makes every character seem like a main character, and Fang Zheng is a huge example of that. This right here almost made me cry.
In his early years, he was accompanied by his master Lord Sky Crane, inside Lang Ya blessed land, he was together with Fang Yuan’s fake will. But now, in Central Continent, he was alone.

Unknowingly, Fang Zheng had gotten used to accompaniment.

“Without you, I am not used to it…” Fang Zheng shook his head and smiled bitterly, an indescribable sense of loneliness permeated in his heart.
