    I would've been severely disappointed if he went full retard and chose bite option. Any enemy strong enough to need to bite would probably slaughter him if he put his face right on them. And its a big if that his teeth even get through an enemies defense. Hes not a snake. Humans aren't built for that.

    Pride of the Malefic Viper was the kind of skill that had more things in the description he didn’t get than he actually understood. Sagacity was not helping at all here for some reason. Honestly, what the hell?
    Force his will upon the world? Words of Power? He didn’t get any of those. Like, could he just think stuff, and then it happened? Was that what it meant by forcing his will upon the world?

    Wings are better rn he needs an Aoe skill which poison fog provides he also needs it to fog enclosed spaces like the cellar so he can protect the pylon from being attacked it also adds a Menacing effect because I imagine the fog being a purple fog but light enough to see silhouettes inside the fog

    Fangs is good but thats no more than building on your own strengths while leaving aoe poison a blaring weakness also biting people is very primitive and a obvious weakness itself in the animal kingdom predators very much fear being punished by prey that they attack with their fangs. ie hyena only go for a buffalo backside and more critically balls because they know they can get punished for attacking head on its an easy way to get your head lopped or an aggro enemy uses Die together technique because they know the poison is too strong and they cant break jakes grip because his strength so they self destruct

    Pride is also gud if it works anything like the Dragonborn then I can easily see him flinging some low-level mobs across the map by just saying Fus with his intent or something like that remember emotion magic exist, also offers mental protection which he badly needs along with the other skill Determination of hunter rare or something like that he gave up for tracking which seemed a Lil stupid to me.

    All together, all are good but I'd say wings explanation below.

    Wings take the cake with pride in quick second and fangs in a quicker third they are all so solid that none lost by anything major, saying one is better than the other is like comparing apples and oranges. But I did choose how which is better based off how vital the skill is needed, as an example id say mc has had more closer shaves with death for not having aoe attack than he would've if he did, ie

    Richard gangs up and preemptively attacks mc with the whole server mc uses poison fog everyone is either dead or dying while healers are healing themselves mc has the advantage.

    Mycelium Mushroom boss attacks mc from all angles mc uses poison fog mushroom is currently caught up in cutting its poisoned parts off, mc has the advantage.

    Rats dungeon from tutorial mc uses poison fog, not even a challenge now.

    On top of poisoning the dungeon buffaloes with blindness, ..... actually poison them?

    Add a more intimidating effect to the humans that come to live in the city if they see you fly away at night on a full moon every month or something like that.

    He also needs mental protection but if you read the king of the forest vs mc fight you already know why, not like it wouldve changed anything as dude used soul magic, but im pretty sure it said forest king used magic that
    As the Malefic Viper had explained, the soul has many layers. Most of them untouched by magic usually, but some types could directly affect it. Of course, Soul magic was one of those with its ability to affect the outermost layer directly.

    Senses could be disturbed, illusions brought to life through them, and much short-term mental damage inflicted. The layer would regenerate naturally, but to influence it made one hold much sway over another. And if the layer were broken entirely… so would the connection to the outside world, as consciousness would be lost.
