    I hate how these “righteous” bastards always try to reform the demonic path and act so hypocritical. They know full well that if these demons didn’t commit the acts they committed then they wouldn’t have reached where they are today and would have no place among the top righteous path sects. Furthermore they commit the same acts as the demonic with a label of Justice and Righteousness and have the nerve to judge others.

    They don’t even care about the mortals and mortal gu masters who are constantly sacrificed as pawns by their own schemes which is mass murder but when the demonic path does it it’s unjust and evil. This is why I can never look at a righteous path as a good path to walk down. This novel has shown that there is no truly righteous group which acts for the sake of others sacrificing themselves for the greater good only for benefits. As the novel often quotes Birds die for food man dies for benefits. Power is the only thing that determines the law of the world. If the righteous path believes that these demons are bad and they’re not then they should all kill themselves or seek reform.

    Tie clan seems to be the only clan purely focused on seeking justice and even they have corruption. There is no righteous and demonic in this novel only humans variant humans and beasts and none are innocent. These righteous sects need to mind their damn business and pursue the dao this is why none of them can attain eternal life cause they’re so stuck on worldly affairs and the benefits of their sects that they can’t reach true enlightenment. So what if they reached venerable rank? What is a venerable compared to eternal life? Everyone dies in the end but the one who overcomes this can truly say they cultivated with their all.
