            Webnovels are simply a form of entertainment. People consume entertainment for various reasons. For example, I tend toward stories that I can close my eyes and play out the story in my head (it reminds me of making up grand campaigns while playing with legos).

            The questions you must answer are as follows: (1) what kind of story do I find entertaining; and (2) why? If you can answer these questions, then—let alone webnovels—you will be able to find the exact kind of entertainment that you enjoy.

            Example from me: (1) Fantasy; (2) because I can build/imagine the world in my head and basically watch a movie while I am reading the story.

            Some stories have shorter or longer chapter lengths, but assuming: (1) it is a medium length story; and (2) I lose my sense of time while enjoying the story, then I could probably read 200+ chapters in a day.

            *Big* caveat: I have trained myself to read exceedingly quickly while comprehending/imagining the material, so this number is likely not representative for most people.

    I thought this looked familiar. I remember reading the wuxia adaptation of this novel 3-4 years ago. I was still new to Chinese wuxia and reading Reverend Insanity blew my mind, the art, the story telling and above all, the mc was an unforgettable experience for me. They stopped uploading after about 90 chapters so I was disappointed. I'm glad that I finally found this one. Truly a gem!
