        They have to trust each other though, can night ever trust orpal? She still wants lith as her ideal host. Can Orpal ever trust night? An horseman? That he only sees as a tool?

          that can happen if author wants to lead it to that point. id rather prefer that rather than an abrupt and anticlimactic death like what he did with Thrud.

          legion is already giving ass pulls and power ups to Orpal, why not make the most of it. also it’d be pretty in line with Orpal (ykno, when the Vurdalak bloodline is stated as something “wrong”) if they achieve manifestation via mutual hate (towards others) rather than mutual trust.
