I've said this in a previous chapter but I'll repeat it here:

"Observe" here does not mean a conscious observer. It doesn't matter whether a conscious living entity sees the outcome. Rather, "observe" means to interact with. The thing that interacts with it might be a photon, or an electron, or the nucleus of an atom. And this will happen even without a conscious observer present to witness the result.

In the MC's second experiment, where he detected which slit the electron went through, the way he detected the location was through some kind of interaction. In other words, he hit the electron with something while it was passing through. This collision forced the electron into a particle-state. And once it became a particle, it no longer showed the properties of a wave.

Honestly, after reading this book, I can say for one thing- physics is extremely interesting. I now wonder what would have happened if I had good teachers* when going through physics basics, those teachers made physics seem like the most bland, the worst subject of study, rather than what it truly is- a major key to the world.

*for those saying the teachers don't matter- I had multiple physics teachers, as my school used to keep changing the teachers for some reason. One of them had no idea what was to be thought and used to teach in a stupid manner- i.e- just reading the text with no explanation of how it affects our world. Another one used to teach like a corpse, no interest, no explanation- just read the text, ask us to memorize and f#ck off.

If you want to understand all these then i would recommend that you read Stephen Hawking's "The grand design",the book is simply incredible that you can understand the theories with just a little bit of effort and internet research
