    since he transmigrated in the first place, this world is obviously more than a game. however there are intended plot lines and the developers must clearly have some power over everything. would they not see this strange rogue NPC anomaly and try to fix it? maybe this will get answered later on.

      It's a goddamn sci-fi plot. The author can come up with the explaination that this game is so high-tech that it actually borders being real. Maybe it's more than just a game, but nothing is certain. You can forget about using reason and just enjoy the show after the author came up with time dilation between game world and real world, with the characters interacting as if they were in the same time plane. The only possible excuse for this plot hole would be that gaming capsules speed up your brain activity tremendously and let you interact with the gaming world at high speed (which is still impossible and doesn't make a lot of sense, but whatever, we balling with the sci-fi).
