    It was as if he was someone who had a solid grasp of their fighting style.

    This novel indicates that the MC has a great deal of familiarity with that team, but in reality he was only active with them for maybe a few weeks, and only went on... 1 mission with them (for his other two missions, he stayed behind and guided them over an intercom). And even in that one mission, the only time he wasn't acting alone was in the car or on the train.

    Unless the novel fast forwarded through other missions they'd engaged in, giving them more time together -- his familiarity and compatibility with the team is being way over-emphasized. He was practically a three-day recruit, but now they act as if they can't imagine their team without him.

        That's fair, and I understand that he would have a pretty good grasp of their fighting abilities simply because he's that skillful. My criticism wasn't aimed solely at this quote, but rather at the numerous mentions of that team feeling incomplete without him. (This quote, for example, is more emphasizing their deep compatibility and connection rather than praising his ability in particular.)

      I think he spent like 6 or so months with them or something not too sure. Plus he's able to co-ordinate with some random assassins due to the amount of battles that he's experienced in his previous life in VR.
