          Ah, got you. It's due to your grammar mistake -it's in a language, not on. Actually, a lot of russian guys write it like this, and I can see where it's coming from.

          "Читать на языке" часто так ошибочно пишется, потому что человек думает на русском, а потом пишет что-то на английском. Поэтому мне нравится читать анлейт - вполне себе развивает язык до уровня носителя, вместе с комментариями.
          Если тебя не смутит, то наиболее корректной формой твоего предложения было бы:

          "First time rereading this, and, what's more, in a different language!"

          "Rereading" - потому что ты совершаешь этот процесс прямо сейчас, в момент написания комментария, а используя Present Simple ты, как бы, говоришь, что регулярно перечитываешь новеллу, либо же говоришь перечитать её кому-то другому. Поэтому нужно добавить ing для полноты смысла. А "What's more" просто звучит лучше.

          Это так, профессиональные деформации) Просто интересно было помочь, ведь сам давно так писал и были трудности с пониманием

    I too have been putting this novel off my reading list even with countless recommendations, as I don’t enjoy the mech genre usually. I hope for the best and will definitely comment on the last chapter once completed.
