          Yes, from my understanding, PGA trapped people and enticed them to explore deeper into chaos sea or maybe only Grisha could hear those voice that enticed him to go deeper; there I think those people / only Grisha were being 'baptised' by chaos sea and see who can survive the corruption...but we know from the result, apparently only Grisha survived.
