    could it be that Seer, Apprentice, and the possible Marauder pathways cannot be interchanged at Sequence 4, but at Sequence 3?
    Is this cuz seq 4 bizzaro sorceror is too similar to previous sequences?
    Also changing sequences to others might also be just as difficult.
    This “blinded” Alger so much that he could hardly open his eyes. He had a strong feeling that he was at risk.

      It seems like seq 4 of seer will join together all the previous sequences bringing a huge change to them. marauder and apprentice won't do that with lower sequences of sear

        Yeah, i remember them mentioning this. Kind of.
        The way i remember it is that sequences that join have similarities at the sequence they join. But since seq 4 of seer seems like its just continuing the seer path, so it might not be the joining point.
        Its just a guess at this point as you can only glean so much from the names

        Edit: I deleted the emlyn bit cuz he did indeed ask the club to look into some people a bunch of chapters back.

      Its not abuse to be smacked a few times as a child for misbehaving. Some go too far but thats not what im talking here.

      Well, her new behavior tactic is more profitable for the gathering, but she's still insincere. Her change in attitude is a purely calculated move. For her to truly become one of the Tarot Club members she needs to be personally interested in main agenda of "standing together against evil gods taking action recently" and trust everyone a bit more. Even Alger doesn't see the club members as pure resources/variables which are to be calculated and used appropriately, only to be instantly tossed away later.

      She needs to see her the future with them to complete her assimilation. At the moment Tarot Club is just like that - more than pure strangers, less than family/friends.
