        Ince Zangwill is a Saint... due to his immense power, 0-08 cant just write something like "Zangwill dies of a heart attack." I needs to kill him in a believeable way, kinda like Alan Wake. Due to this, there needs to be a similarily powerful enemy to kill him, and that similarily powerful entity is the spirit...

    It was explained that 0-08 would attempt to kill its current user, that being Ince Zangwill, so I am somewhat confused as to why it bothered having him dig the underground ruins as it was implied in the last couple of chapters I believe. I get the danger involved since that evil spirit likely used to be a sequence 1... I guess killing a demigod through simple and ordinary means is not something feasible for it. Otherwise, he would have long been dead ages ago. Not to mention it’s actually not that aggressive when left on its own from what we have seen thus far.

      0-08 tries to kill it's owner, yes, but that's not all
      it's main purpose for doing so is to free itself from any owner or seal
      otherwise if it was just the matter of killing Zangwill, a whole night's time is enough for 0-08 to create coincidences to let the 3 churches know Ince's location
      but it would also mean that they would seal it again that's why it does things in roundabout fashion
      also that item is a little eccentric
