    What Sanguine? In the end they're just descendants of moon pathway beyonders whose characteristics were passed down during pregnancy. They're just fortunate enough to be passed down with sequence 7 strength automatically, instead of half sequence 9. And even that may be the result of the 1st ancestor having enough leeway to establish such system.

      It's not "having their inheritance passed down to next generation" which is their source of pride but the thousands of years of history behind them and the fact that they had once been rulers
      think of it as those ancient and noble houses like augustus, sauron, einhorn, etc.

      Technically speaking there could be a race of vampires separate to humans, like giants were there before humans could advance, and yet now it seems some people can become giants via potions. (Not confirmed)

      he NEEDS the mermaid still. it was reiterated that from Seq 5 onwards, rituals are necessary. No skipping. Unless one wants to take the risk of losing control or dying..

      As the other guy said, he still needs the mermaids. After Sequence 6, a potion isn't the only thing required. One still needs to drink the potion while following a specific ritual. In Klein's case, he bought the supplementary ingredients for the potion already, and with the purified black eye he will be able to concoct the potion. He will then need to drink it while listening a mermaid singing.

      I don’t think they’re suffering right now.
      They’d be suffering if he told them that he’s alive but he can’t be around them because it’s too dangerous and he needs to get stronger.

      If he can’t be with them then it’s better if they believe he’s dead and move on with their lives, which they seem to be doing.

        Well, tbh i haven't really experienced someone close to me dying but based on what I've heard having someone close to you dying hurts a lot and there is a lot of sadness involved for a very long time. On the other hand, the feeling of not being able to be with someone is much more bearable because at least you know they are alive and there is hope that they will meet sometime in the future. Just my thoughts but then again maybe the actual experience is different than what I think

          That's only in case when the one who you can't meet isn't in constant danger. Imagine Klein's situation, you won't know when he suddenly drops dead again and revives again. Besides this a world filled with mystery, his relation with them could end up being a weak point which can be exploited or used to inflicted hurt on him. It could also lead to tragedy for Benson and Melissa being dragged into fight of monsters of demi-god to god level characters.

            I mean if my brother was sent off to fight a war and was in danger every day, I would much rather know that he was alive and had a chance of coming back than think he's dead... Your logic seems a bit flawed.

              You're looking at it in the lense of our natural world without beyonder danger. In the case of Klein, family is a weakness that can be used to target him. Look at admiral Tracy, Klein was able to take advantage of her relationship with Helene to almost assassinate her. With so many lunatic enemies like Aurora order, what do you think they would do once they learned that Klein has remaining family?

              If you're in his shoes, would you rather inform your family that you're alive in exchange of their safety or let them believe you're dead if it keeps them away from danger?

      Normally I would agree but in this case Klein is long dead and the person who is in Klein's body is our MC. He doesn't have all of his memories and neither is he Klein's reincarnation, so it a lot better if Klein stays dead, atleast in the eyes of the orignal Klein's immediate family.
