      the math does add up it provides a probability of the event happening but no matter how low the probability of an event happening so long as its not zero the event can happen klein just got really unlucky

      On serious note, am pretty sure that Old Kohler and the other 2 were relatively close to each other, East Borough is big afterr all , not to mention that the fog harms those who are weak/sick/bad immunity/old/children more and the church took some time to take action later on after they realised the situation and those close to the incident died and the fact that all 3 died shows that they were close to spawn as Klein had told Old Kohler to look out for Liv
