    I think this is a joke about the Chinese 50-Cent Party, a group of commenters on the early Chinese internet who were responsible for pushing the CCP's ideas and generally messing up threads that were critical of the CCP, in exchange for 0.50 Yen per comment
    I can't tell for sure, though, because I'm not certain the original translator knew what that was about so they might have translated it literally instead of how the author intended it to come across.

      Yeah, but, he is responsible for this too, he should have applied stricter rules. The production through industrialization cannot be compared with the primitive methods, so they would have been fine with lesser profits too (doesn't cost much for masks etc anyways). Also, as a Modern Era human, Roselle knows the dangers from pollution and adding Evil gods to the mix, Heh, He could have done a much better job.
