    Survival bias generally meant that a lot of statistics would only include those who were alive and lucky. The data would ignore the dead; therefore, the results would be clearly biased.

      Really cool video! I recommend all of those reading this to give it a watch!
      But to summarize it for people who don't like watching youutube videos;
      In WW2, the US Air force wanted to make better plane armor to increase the survivability of the planes, and when they got the data from the returning planes, it showed where they got hit, but this data only comes from the planes that survived. So it doesn't show the places that get hit and destroy the plane, only the places you can take a hit and survive. A bit of an oversimplification, and I do recommend giving the video a watch, but I hope it helps!

      Well, there is still politics, technology and finance. Imagine how electricity will turn this world knowing that they are stuck in steam age. Even diesel engines may be of use here. Sadly our mc is a jack of all trades and master of none. I don't think that he has the ability to replicate modern items in this world
